My friend, please a lot of August applicants have not received their medical request including myself! Most people you see here are mostly inland applicants. I want to tell you receiving medical request depends on your visa office, some visa offices are super fast while you have some attending to many applicants from different countries. Don't worry it will soon get to your turn.

I got MR request on Jun 1st and took check at the same day.

I just got a status update from my CIC profile, that my background check went from "In progress" to "Not needed at this time". Has anyone experienced this? What does this mean? Should I be worried?

Mine did this as well. I guess it's normal? Not sure. I'm pretty sure we have nothing to worry about, though. They passed me on my medicals a few weeks after background check changed to "not needed" so I'm sure everything is fine.

I have read about many applicants that had background check changed to "not needed". It is normal and nothing to worry about, it means they are busy working on a your case, maybe just a different part of your application than background checks.

Hang in there, you guys that already had MR will get PPR in the next 1-3 months ;D

My medicals uploaded on May 20th. Still my status shows medicals not passed. I see in this page many of getting there in 3 weeks. Just curious any one ha s same timeline as mine ?

How much time do they take to update the ECAS. Just curious. Actually my Ecas is not showing anything about my medical, pcc and rprf. :-[

Today logged in after a month or so to check the updates of fellow applicants.
Loosing all the interest now :-[
But still I believe everything happens when its the perfect time for it . God knows whats the best for us.

Just wondering about the following when I looked at your timeline. You submitted the application in July last year, you then received AOR in September. Your "received" date listed on https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app= should probably then be end July, beginning August right?

This means that you can enquire about your application end October as this will be 15 months, or am I missing something here?

I'm also 4th August applicant and AOR 9th October and my file is in Abu Dhabi VO. and still waiting for MR!! hope soon we get it, let us be aligned so we tell each other whenever it happened

Don't worry Solimane, the MR is closer to you very soon you'll get it. I've learnt to be patient during the nominee level. The waiting gets shorter by the day. We shall get to our destinations by the special grace of God.
