I didn't
Did it upfront

Holy wow!

My husband and I did our medicals on Monday (the 13th) and just got an email about changes to our MyCiC account. When I checked it, the medical status was changed to "passed"! That was super fast!

For some reason though, our background check went from "in process" back to "not needed at this time". :s

How did you check your status? How can you know your background check status?

Open MyAccount on the cic.gc.ca
Click on the "Link application..." and if system find your application , you can see more information from account

Can anyone tell me how long will it take for PPR after Medicals completed. I have completed the medical for myself and family on 26 Jan 2016. Since then I heard nothing from cic. Called them a couple of weeks ago and they said you can receive the response anytime between tomorrow and end of this year :o :o :o

Its getting too long and I can't wait now :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Hello everyone :) :) :)
To God be the glory! Received ppr yesterday and sent passport today. My timeline is updated on my profile.

Goodluck to everyone

For inland applicants, do we have to submit Canada police certificate? On CIC website, they indicate the following:

Police certificates

You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide a valid police certificate for each country other than Canada, in which you have spent six or more months since the age of 18.

However, they don't mention this in the reminder email or anywhere else. Do inland applicants have to submit Canada police certificate?

Almost same happen here!
Applied:Aug 10- AOR: Nov 10-MR: May 31

Medical done June 8 and today I received a notification through MyCIC and Medical passed!
Not sure background was "in process" before though but it shows"not needed at this time". Counting to get PPR now!

May I see your actual note? Mine just showing Medical received and it didn't say if the medical has passed or not.

Here's a screenshot from my account:

Make an account with http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp. It updates more frequently than ECAS.

Hi Everyone,

I got an email to pay RPRF fee this morning. I paid online and submitted the receipt through case specific enquiry form.

Do I need to submit the hard copy to CIC office?

I am November 12th applicant and paper based.
