I am outland, I know which visa office is processing my application and during the interview the immigration officer told me that I have to send it to the embassy email and I did so.

Good luck!

I got an email from cic saying "Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information."
Checked cic website, nothing new on my profile...

that is normal, onmy MyCIC I have my EE profile for almost a year and PNP application since April 2016 and I receive that email at least every 2-3 weeks, but nothing changes of course. They might do so internal upgrades or work on the application but the actual changes are not visible. All people who have EE profile active receive email about changes with no actual changes.

MONKUCHA, thanks!

I believe this is called a "ghost e-mail" and it usually means that someone logged into your application at CIC or whichever VO and made some adjustments.

I have seen numerous occasions where normal paper based applicants (not ee) receive this e-mail and a week or so after that they receiver PPR.

I hope this is the case for you my friend ;D

Which of the source is more updated: mycic or ecas?
Or both should be identical?

You have to wait min 5 day otherwise they will not request the CIC to resent email. I had similar situation with different email

Do you know how long it take for cic to resent the email?
