I am following this thread since August 2015.Application reached to CIC Nova Scotia on August 13th 2015. Still did not get the AOR.Anyone is with the same timelines and still waiting for the File Number?

I am an outland applicant. Application received by MIKE on 22nd of September. How long should I wait to receive AOR? Another is thing is that, I couldn't provide PCC from a country where I lived for 6 years, because I had to apply for the PCC from that country. I received the PCC by this time. Now, can I send PCC to CIO directly or CIC will ask me along with AOR to submit PCC? By the way, I have provided a written statement why I couldn't send PCC along with my application to CIO. What normally does AOR contain?

I called CIC and asked the status of my application and the agent told me that the current status of my application is "in process" and that I just have to wait if they would ask me for some documents. I didn't received any email from CIC yet. I'm just wondering if as soon as your application arrived at their office does it say "in process" as your status? I'm just being paranoid, I can't take it anymore if they would send me back my application. I don't want to start from scratch since my nomination just expired last sept 2015.

i have a same situation . my nomination validate end next week , i dont receive AOR & itry to contact CIC but they dont respond any call from out side Canada .
How do you contact them ?

I suggest you wait until they request you to send them your PCC because if you send it right now and you didn't have AOR yet it might get lost. AOR contains your file number I think. I can't really tell coz I am too is still waiting for my AOR. Good Luck to us and God Bless!

I am from inside Canada. I don't know how to contact them when your outside Canada. Sorry about that. By the way what is your timeline?

Hi rosy324 we don't have the same timeline but me too is still waiting for AOR. Application received by CIO August 20, 2015. Most of them from this thread with the same timeline as mine got their AOR already and that makes me worried but upon reading your message it gave me hope and have to wait for our turn in God's perfect time. But I still have no news on the application status or file number from CIC. Please let me know when should I expect an answer from the CIC regarding my application.
