Hi
I know for citizenahip you need to meet certain days, some around 1000 days right?

My question was what if u move to Canada and if u get offer or have to travel for job purposes? Even if u r working for a Canadian firm and travel, do you still need to meet the citizenship criteria?

I read somehwere long time back that I u r working for Canadian company, and they sent u abroad for long term project basis, you can include those days in counting ur citizenship?? I want to double check this?

Anybody who has knowledge on this can pls guide?

No - you cannot count these days for citizenship.

You must have 1095 days of physical residency in Canada to qualify to apply for citizenship. Days spent outside of Canada working for a Canadian company cannot be counted towards this total.

You may be able to count days spent outside of Canada working for a Canadian company towards your PR residency obligation - but not citizenship. For citizenship you need physical presence.

scylla is right. You must have 1095 days IN Canada in the previous 4 years before applying for citizenship. That means that over a 4 year period, you can not be outside Canada for more than 90 days a year on average.
