Just received PPR yesterday morning. Applicant from Mumbai, India.
Can anybody tell me where us Indian applicants need to send the passport for stamping (and any procedure involved)

Congratulations!

The PPR letter would have a mail id where you need to send in a request to change further processing to your LVO. CIC typically responds within 2-10 days to such requests.

Yes, there was an email id and we wrote to them the same day. (though the reply time mentioned in the auto-response said 20 working days)
Awaiting further instructions.

No PR after 4 months or AOR

I am getting really concerned now. I submitted my application for PR from Delhi (India) and I received AOR out 4 months ago. My application status as on 17th August, 2015 says Review of Eligibility ‘In Progress’ and my 'Background check' has not been even started yet. I note many applicants (from this forum) who got their AOR in April have already received PR. I am concerned that even after 4 months they are checking if I am eligible or not and not really making any great progress with my application.

Here are my details:

ITA - March 20 (FSW EE)
AOR - April 20

ECAS status is Application Received

EE Application -

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started Help
A final decision has been reached Not Started

Anyone in same boat please share your thoughts.

Was there any add document request before u received the PPR?

From which country are you applying?

I received AOr on May 1

So just wanted to check?

Did you get a mail on August 13 for your mycic background check - in process?

I am on the same boat as yours. After my medical passed, my background check doesn't start for more than 2 months. My working permit is gonna expire soon. :'( :'( :'(

Ok thanks a lot vin.. You had paid your rprf fee upfront eh?

Also are you sure that your background check went into process.. Cause usually for outlanders receive PPR without BG check..

Anyways congrats once again.. Which VO are asked to submit your passport?

That's not always the norm... I am an outlander and my BG check went to in process in May 18th (AOR May 5th). So as you can see, CIC is very unpredictable.
