Hi guys. I received AOR on August 21, 2019 and Passed everything. For last 3 months no update and status is “we are reviewing your eligibility requirements and processing your background checks. Any buddy else in same boat waiting for PPR. Not sure if this is due to Covid only. Called IRCC many time. Every time same response that still processing. Also submitted webform but reponse is, we will let you know if there is any update.

AOR - 17 August 2019
Called IRCC - Last Thursday and the agent congratulated me and still no sign of PPR.
Canada is opening-up now, so when can we expect?

It’s not just about Canada, what’s going on in your country of resistance? That affects the situation too.

In the same boat.
submitted passport 1 month 2 weeks ago and still no update on the application even.
on top of this, even though my application was approved in December 2019 (Sept 2019 AOR) i was not sent "ready for visa" email because it was a "technical error" on their part which i got to know by calling them in march and finally received the request to submit passport just a month ago.

My AOR is Feb 2020 and estimated time is August. I'm hoping that by that time things should be back to normal and PPR should be issued regularly again.

I'll like to ask, can an applicant be asked to take medicals again after all stages have been passed?

Any input will be appreciated.

Yes, if it is expires, it is at the discretion of Health Canada to either extend or ask for new one. For outlanders, mostly it is asked.
