PPR at NY VAC

Hi,

I received my PPR this morning. I am asked to send my passport to NY VAC. I need to travel internationally on 10th Dec. I need to make sure to get my passport back before that.

Anybody who has sent there passport after PPR to NY VAC or any VAC, please share your time line. I am confused if I should send my passport now or not

Congratulations. I did not send to NY, but LA. my letter did not specify, so I chose to use LA. Sent my passport on October 26 and got it back November 3. Not sure if NY timelines are similar

Any thoughts on NY vs LA timelines? Since I did my biometrics at NYC, it is free for me to ship to NYC, but I am worried about delays.

Not really. I just heard from forum members that LA was quite responsive and would process it within a week and that there were delays at NYC. But no concrete information yet

Then send to LA. You have about three and a half week, I'd think either should be able to do it in time if you submit soonest. (I havent been following how quickly at either though, just impression from various threads)
