I will not debate about that. Lets just hope and pray that the officer wont check it and you get your visa on time.
Airlines don’t let people make dummy reservations
All reservations have a TL field upon making it . TL = ticket limit . After a reservation is made , unless a ticket is generated in it, it’ll auto cancel .
Airlines aren’t going to let people screw around with their inventory by doing this .
US immigration has access to peoples pnrs , I assume Canadian immigration does as well .
When I worked for an airline I could search pnrs in the system by a simple phone number , credit card, frequent flyer numbers , last names . It’s 2024 assume the Government knows more about travel patterns and airline reservations then you think they do.
After 9/11 the Governments forced airlines to give access to reservation systems to track individuals
US immigration customs would routinely ask me to do data pulls on people .

Thank you for your insight

Yea you are right about this and unfortuanerly many sites surfaced that might claim actual temporary reservarions (48 hrs or until travel date) as a hold and eventhough the routes are legitimate as a flight plan they just dont have actual reservations or might produce an unverifiable PNR. I hope IRCC cares more about the route and the plan itself regardless of the PNR as i think they know people dont usually book tickets before a visa process.

Given that Copingwithlife
From what you see a dummy booking is expected from applicants by IRCC, even if some thought they were engaged in actual reservations, but is their main focus a flight plan? Or a PNR code
