Folks - where did you get your photos taken from? I live in the US. The local Walgreens and CVS do not attest the back of the photos.
Walgreens does man... kick their butt... they always do...I have always done Walgreen.. and worst case... get a friend who has Costco... boom done

I was told he same thing, in addition to they only do us passport size. Went to a professional studio. 20 bucks but worth it, attested, read through all the conditions as well.

Walgreens denied it...Costco told me they cant do it as there exists no "Canada" specification in their system. CVS did it finally but hand-wrote the pharmacy address and date. Hope that's alright.

I believe the turnaround time for VFS Delhi is around 10 working days. I submitted my passport on 13 Aug at VFS Delhi.
 
My dependant passport forwarded to Abu Dhabi on August 7th from Qatar, when do you think we will hear back from them?

Yes, according to the specification, handwritten name, address and date should be good. Hopefully, it won't cause any issue.

Documents required;
ID document - can be your passport/ Visa/COPR etc
Address Proof - Your COPR copy, Goods to follow list etc where address is mentioned
For other documents if any visit the bank website

Its a fairly simple process to get the Checking account started and also apply for most likely secured credit cards.

To build credit history try to use 70% of the limit of credit cards (shopping, buying tickets etc.) and clear dues on time.
 
Just submitted passports at the hyderabad VFS. The guys kept pushing me for courier service but I declined. They are really pushy.
