I got RPRF at Mar.3 and paid in the night of Mar.3.
However until now there is no news from CIC.
Are there some people who have the same situation?

hi i am writing because i don't know what is happening with my application so i need advice.
my application was received on 15th sept. 2014 and filed on 29th January 2015, med requested on 29th Feb 2016 and received on 5th March 2016 since then no other update i wondering what is happenning. i called call centre twice but they told me that my application seem complete but i no new yet. Anybody to have any ideas

Hello everyone,

I finally got the Ready for Visa email this morning!!! (I think I got it right this time, lol) ;D

They also asked me for two pictures, now I have to get those taken tomorrow and submit the passports. Does everyone get asked to submit photographs?

Has anyone done in-land landing recently at the Harry Hays building in Calgary? I am curious to know how long does it take to get a date for an appointment.

This is so surreal.

Hi All,

I'm Sep 29th Applicant and I have received Ready for VISA mail, and they have mentioned VISA office as Canada one, but currently I'm in Canada and even my Online application is showing the updated mailing address as my India address.

In the below mail I see the below information, I have replied stating that I'm in India and to help me on this.

· If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, please send an email to us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can send you instructions for submitting your documents to a visa office which is the most convenient for you. Please note that our office will not return passports to an address outside North America.


So can someone please guide me on how many day's they will take to reply me with the India(Delhi) Visa office details.

I Dont know how much will this help, BUT JUST IN I GOT A REQUEST TO PAY MY RPRF FEES.

I believe CIC is now up and Working hard to get over the backlog.

I received the ready for visa email few minutes ago!

I want to know how long it takes to get the visa?
I am going to travel to my home country on April 23.
If I am sending the printed travel ticket and ask CIC for fast processing, is that fine?

AOR: 18 DEC 2014
PCC and Rcmp request: 2 Feb 2016
Rcmp submitted: 5 Feb 2016
MR: 25 Feb 2016
Medical done: 29 Feb 2016
RPRF: 3 Mar 2016 and paid the same day
PCC submitted: 4 Mar 2016
Ready for visa email: 6 April 2016

Hi All, got my ready for visa email an hour ago. Can anyone direct me or share with me the timeline expected between sending them your passport and them returning it to you in order to land?
I have heard anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks.
