Hello Asivad,
Greetings!!
I recently got my ITA & looking for your help on the below queries for post ITA docs upload.
1. While filling post ITA forms, I mentioned my spouse's education details, but did not have the ECA and mentioned NO there. But still the checklist asks for her proof of education documents. So will it be an issue if I upload her degrees without ECA? Though I do not get any points for her education in my CRS and my EE profile points grid shows below for the same:
CRS - Spouse - Level of Education 0
Also, would it be fine if I remove her education details and put them under Personal history section? I hope it should not cause any issue with my application.
Please suggest which way is best.
Exclude it completely from education history and provide full disclosure in Personal history. Won't be a cause for concern as you're not getting points for this.
2. I excluded her part-time work from the application which she has been doing in US and did not mention in the Work experience section. Should I include it in her Personal history section OR mark it as Unemployed in this section? I am also not getting any points for her India experience as well.
CRS - Spouse - Canadian Work Experience 0
Exclude it completely from work history and be factually accurate in Personal history. If she is doing part-time work and studying full-time, mention Education. Else mention Unemployed.
3. My brother is a Canadian citizen and I can get his passport, citizenship documents, house registry to prove his status. But I am unable to get his bank statements, utility bills etc. for last 6 months to prove he is still living there. Will it cause any problem with my application if I only submit his passport, citizenship docs and exclude the other documents?
Just for your info, my FSW points are 79/100 without 5 adaptability points having my brother there in Canada. I am not looking for his support, but since the application forms asks to fill in the details of your immediate family members, so I have to fill in his details and the checklist now asks for his documents.
Submit as many documents as you can and upload an LOE highlighting that you're clearly eligible for the program even without claiming those 5 points under Adaptability and that you have provided all possible documents at your end despite not claiming those points towards eligibility and politely request the officer to consider your application as complete and process it on its merits.
Please help me in clarifying my queries.
