Post-ITA question about family section in personal

I am completing my Post-ITA application and I have a question I hope you can help me with.

The information about my parents and siblings is needed, but I have not spoken to my father in about 3 years. As such, I am currently unaware of his city of residence or even unsure of his current country of residence.
What should I do?
I am now thinking for country of residence I could put the last country I am sure of and for city I could put in 'Unknown'. Do you think this will be sufficient (plus adding a section in the LOE)?

just put the last known country and city in the column, dont put unknown. And explain with LoE.

The reason why they ask for parents information is if you want to apply for visas for them in the future,

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. I should do this even if I know that he doesn't live in the last known city anymore? I just don't know where he moved to...

well just put the last known city, and country... even if it was 6-7 years ago. dont put city unknown.
