Post ITA Passport Document Upload

Dear Senior Members (such as AsiVad and AnujGupta and the rest )

I have been going through the forum meticulously and really appreciate all the effort you guys put in.

I have just 1 question about the document upload as CIC finds any which way possible to reject apps even if a sentence is out of place.

Uploading the Passport document :
1) Do I upload just the BIO Page as requested or also all the Visas and Exit/Entry stamps of my old and new passport which would be atleast 60 to 70 pages of Visas and stamps ?

From the forum i read, in the upload section some had the blue dialogue box to include them and some didn't. I actually had an ITA before got rejected coz i uploaded a New Zealand PCC instead of signing the consent form and uploading ! Anyway.. that's history.

But people who have landed could shed some light about the correct procedure of uploading documentation post ITA as this seems to be a very tricky point in the process.

As I understand, it is bio-data from your current passport and also travel documents, meaning visas and stamps. You need to attach to pages from your old passport only if you have valid visa's in your older passport (which is either cancelled or expired). If all your visa's are expired in your older passport, you do not need to attach them.

Follow CIC's instructions. I don't recall being asked to upload visas, just the bio-data page of a valid passport. If your checklist asks for stamps and old passport, definitely upload those.

The reason I gave such a reply because, in the personalized check-list that was generated to me, it specifically mentioned passport bio data page and also Travel documents. I presume Travel document is nothing but the Visa. In my case, I do not have a separate travel doc and my passport is the travel document but the valid document to show my travel are my visa's. (and travel stamps probably).

I understand that. The checklist asks for bio-data page of a valid passport OR travel document - the purpose being to confirm the applicant's identity alone.

Travel document is not the visa. Travel document is an alternative document to a valid passport which is issued by countries under specific circumstances to refugees or stateless people for instance.

I will make sure to keep an eye on the checklist documents.

By the way, i noticed that CIC always makes a draw on a Friday ! From the beginning till now, the 1st one was on a saturday and 1 in between was on Tuesday (maybe the guy was who implements it was sick ? ) Every other draw happens on a Friday. I have 943 points with Provincial Nomination so fingers crossed.

Also to other people who read this. Although i had a provincial nomination and it says accept before so and so date if you are not registered for Job bank and you go past 30 days your profile will be rejected/become ineligible and you have to make a new one which is lame because if the system tells i can accept nomination before a certain date.

For E.G :

1) EE profile created on 1st August !
2) Nomination received on 15th August
3) You have until 15th September to accept it,
4) But Job bank registration deadline is 30 Aug

So if you havent registered for Job Bank by 30 Aug thinking you can accept the nomination around 10 Sep (for whatever reason maybe for more time or something)

Then the system makes your profile ineligible.

Not a perfect system but anyway, head up.
