I am a graduate outside of Canada who was attending school within Canada in March 2020. I have applied for PGWP within 180 days of program completion day from outside of Canada. My problem lies in my study permit (SP) as I did not renew it since I left Canada, Covid was big issue. Do I still need a valid study permit to be eligible? I was wondering to ask if there is a way to restore the student permit or apply for a new one from outside of Canada after I received program completion letter?
