Post from London with our wedding pics without any letter.What would that mean??

I have something to ask. Me and my husband has gone through the medical process on 2nd April and on 4th April, I had sent the RPRF fees. Till now, there is no status change on the E-Cas system.

On 13th May, I have received a post from London VO. They have sent us back the pictures of our marriage that we had sent when we had submitted our file with the marriage certificate. Someone had said to us to attach some pics as proof..so we did. I am assuming that they don't need them anymore but I am not sure as there was no letter with it but only pics.

Now my concern is why exactly they have sent the pics back and too without any letter. Also, the e-cas system is still showing In process and not Med received. I remember they had written in the Med request e-mail that do not contact us within 4 months time unless there is something very urgent.

Please suggest me what shall I do in this case?? Shall I wait for say another month or write to them??

My timeline: MPNP 22/12/11 Additional Doc 07/02/12 LOA 12/05/12 App sent to CIO 03/08/12 AOR 13/10/12 E-cas status change from App rcvd to In process 10/12/12 RPRF & med 13/12/12 (lost-never got it) RPRF and Med again (after I had sent them an email) 27/03/13 Sent 04/04/13

Thanks for replying sabif. Can you please tell me at which stage did you get the snaps back?? Its nearly 2 months and still they have not updated anything about medical results received

I don't exactly remember but it was sometime when I received medical request... just a couple of days before or after the medical request. Just a wild guess: the documents that they have validated to be genuine are returned.

Many ppl on this forum don't get the medical results received line. Who is your program assistant and where is your visa office? Every visa office has it's own style of processing. There are many assumptions on this forum for some medicals received line. It may mean a decision has been made (read it on this forum) and sometimes medicals have been passed...so on and so forth. It is not a valid indicator of the stage of ur application.

In any case, you can send a case specific enquiry as I also have read on this forum that medicals results have been lost!!

Well don't worry, if they send you back the snaps, that means they are working on your application which is good.

Medical results take time if you have done paper medical thingy instead of e-medical... you can send case specific inquiry as mentioned above.

I have submitted my file myself. And my visa office is London. We have got the e-medicals done on 2nd April so I am thinking to complete 2 months first before writing to them. Please don't scare me by saying that medical results might get lost because last time when I had emailed them due to some changes in my file, I came to know that they had sent medical request in Dec and I came to know about it in March so I requested them to send the medical again. So yes, it has happened with me as well.

Did you get any letter with the pics/docs you received?? Because I haven't got any.

Thanks..I am hoping for the same..fingers crossed. Ours was e-medical. I will wait for another week so as to complete 2 months after the medical then I'll write to them.
