Post Feb 2008 Applicant still waiting for CIC Sydney eligibility review

I would like to hear from someone applied after Feb 2008 and still waiting for CIO eligibility review.
I applied May 2008 to CHC Islamabad, they sent my application to CIO Sydney in March 2009, after that no reply from CIO. Online status : Application Received". I am in 38 occupation list

It's quite delayed. Write an email to Islamabad asking for an update, asap.

I am in the same situation. I applied in New Delhi in March 2008. My application was transfered to Nova Scotia in March 2009. The initial eligibility review hasn't been done. Status on e-case is 'Application Received' since March 2009. No response from either the Nova Scotia office or Delhi office to my postal queries and case-specific enquiries. I am in 38 list and then in October 2009 also submitted an HRDC-approved AEO. Now, my potential employer is ordering CAIPS to find out the status of my immigration file.

Same situation,me applied in July 2008,case transfered 2 NS in March 2009,My NOC written in appl is 2281,(i m performing some duties of 0213) initailly i supose that as,my NOC 2281,is under the CLASSIFIED ELSEWHERE NOC 0213,so CHC,consider my appl under 0213(which is included in 38 list) but they didnt,months ago,i send mail to CHC islbad to consider my case under NOC 0213(and change my NOC 2281,to 0213 in my appl.)but no reply,i also send fax to NS,many times,but no responce,around two months ago,again i send case spacific inquiry to CHC islamabd,they send just me an auot reply that we got ur mail,and will reply u in 2 weeks,ohterwise u have to check CIC website for ur query.
Still in confusion,have no confirmation that either CHC changed my NOC,or not,what willl happen?they will,accept or reject my appl.?still suspence is there,lets c what happen,Hope for the Best,and pray to GOD.

No activity still the same " Application received" I am planning to apply again with new application

I am planning to order CAIPS to know more details about my file. Have you tried that first instead of withdrawing and reapplying?
You never know our occupations may not be in 'high demand' when you plan to reapply!

no updates,status is same yet,in my opinion it is better to wait then re apply,one thing i want to confirm that is there rejection for post feb 08 is still continue?

I am not sure if the rejection is still happening for post Feb 2008 applicants. One of my friends applied at the same time as me - same process - New Delhi to Nova Scotia - Application Rcd status - and then she received rejection back in October.
I am not expecting a rejection because I have also submitted an HRDC-approved AEO..so something should come through.
The time it is taking is my only concern.
