You moved on Sept 1st to Canada? Unless you have LMIA you wouldn't have a valid job offer at this point in time.
NO. I meant, i moved from one place to another. Just a local change of address. Then to update my profile, i submitted these changes. but i have a feeling those change (related to job offer specially) may not have been taken into account.

Can i request a review under any circumstances? OR is it just better to move on and reapply?

What kind of work permit do you have? How long have you been working for your employer?

You can raise a CSE to appeal the decision but so far I don't see a reason as to why they would reopen your file.

So it is an open Work Permit. I got my first job as a manager starting 31st of May, resigned from that on 2nd September and started at my current company on the 5th of September. Before this period, i only had 6 months of employment.

I'm thinking that because when i submitted the file, the $$ amount in my bank was less than $12,300, and now it is much more than that, i might have a chance? I'm just guessing here...

Well for starters you do not have a valid job offer as only those with LMIA or employer specific work permits qualify (closed work permits)

Second, you must meet the required funds when submitting your eAPR which I am assuming that was not the case. Overall it is up to you but if I were in your position I would create a new profile and start over.

Thanks for all the help Del Piero!

Job offer wasn't an issue in the rejection letter at all. It was all about insufficient funds.

I think i'll have to reapply. Can you tell me if i'd have to go through the medical and bio-metrics exam all over again?

Thanks again.

For the medicals you can upload the same eMedical sheet as long as your medicals haven't expired (one year validity).

No idea for the bio-metrics as those aren't required for applicants of my home country.

I just received my GCMS notes this morning, at the top of the NOTES section, it reads"file ready for QA and final approval". Do you know what QA means? Maybe that's the reason for delay? Thank you!
I hope you already got your answer for this.

Final Approval means your file is now completed and Senior Officer needs to approve it and generate PPR.

However, IRCC have appointed some experts for auditing the immigration process and its integrity. Therefore, they select files on sample basis for Quality Assurance (QA) and in your case it seems to be selected.

So, first it will be approved by QA then by Officer but it usually doesn’t take much time as they do it on priority basis.

You should call IRCC and confirm your status.

@BillHyatt @DelPiero07 Hi experts,
I applied for EE and received AOR on 10 October. I have spent around 7 months in Dubai in 2007-2008 on a visit visa and could not get a PCC from UAE. Dubai Police replied to my email saying PCC's are not issued on visit visas. I also got the same reply from the UAE embassy in my home country saying it is due to policy of UAE gov, they do not issue PCC on visit visa.

I wrote an LOE explaining this and also attached the emails I received. However, on 1st November, I received a letter from CIC requesting updated PCC from UAE. Please advise what to do now? CIC has given me 60 days to provide the PCC.

I will write a letter again. The only thing bothering me is why is this not mentioned on the CIC website in the PCC section for UAE? They do mention it for Saudi Arabia that PCC is not available for people with visit visa.
My only concern is that the immigration officer might reject my application. Please suggest.

Hey @BillHyatt, how do you call IRCC? What is the number?

Thanks,

Hey @BillHyatt is it normal for processing to slow down during the end of the year, especially for PNPs? I have been seeing a stall of movement for folks from April straight to the current date. Is this because of a back log? I've been in IP1 since Oct 12. I called the number and was told my file is being processes at CPC Ottawa. I guess I got to roll with the punches.

Not much different is evident except for Nominations that tends to slow down by the end of the year.
