Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
This is to assure that a person has sufficient skills to transfer to Canadian Market and a person has full command of the field they wanted to be considered for.

You can't tell if your NOC Similarity has been tested or not while you are in NA2. If your file has been transferred to LVO/CPC for further review and finalisation of your file then it means your NOC similarity will be completed.

I have noticed that after allocating UCI the following test are completed immediately.

1. Client Fees
2. Medicals
3. IELTS
4. ECA Verification
5. Police Certificates: Criminality is updated after review by another department.
6. Age

However, Employment verification takes time to start and that's where files get stuck. Once, Analyst has updated employment notes your file is ready to be sent to LVO/CPC. Then files are sent in batches and therefore, it can be delayed depending on the priority of the files.

An IRCC Officer will do a final review, do further verifications (if needed or recommended by Analyst), verify security part of admissibility, update misrepresentation, and make the final recommendation. If everything is ok your file will be approved and again put on a batch of PPR.

I hope this will clear things.
Thanks for your reply.

I moved to na2 on 31st, so does that mean my file will be now processed at lvo/cpc and not CIO?

So employment verification and NOC similarity happens at CIO?

Folks, I have full legal custody of my 5 year old who is a US citizen. Divorce happened in the USA 4 years back and the father continues to stay in the USA. We moved out of the USA. Though the father has visitation rights as per parental agreement, he has never visited nor is he in touch. Do I have to get NOC from the father of my child or will the Parental agreement suffice?

Hi Bill

Have a followup question. Is it better to provide documentation corresponding to work history, even if you are not claiming points for them? I know you've said you should do that with education history, but what about work history?

Thanks

Some jobs are regulated in Canada. You would need a license or certification to practice these jobs. Do you know if your primary occupation or trade is regulated

Hey @BillHyatt there are some research questions in EE profile my occupation is regulated but I have not done anything about license procedure and as I am working in NOC 4031 but I dont have B.Ed so I am not eligible for license as you said that we dont need to meet employment requirements to claim foreign work exp so what should I answer to these questions if answering NO will affect my application? If I answer yes then CIC would know that this person dont have required skills to get license in canada so how will he apply for license it means he is telling a lie, and this could become a reason for rejection.

Can you help please??

And last question is, is CIC getting more strict on licensed occupations and for a person to claim work exp he/she should have required degree in that field? Do you see this as becoming mandotary in future

Thanks

For education history Analyst Reviews your Degrees and Transcript despite the fact it is not mandatory and this fact is also stated in their notes.

In the case of Experience, if you aren't claiming points for that, it will not be reviewed and therefore, there is no reason to upload them.

I hope this will help.

Research questions are for the purpose of IRCC research only and aren't reviewed anywhere by an Analyst or IRCC Officer. However, you should select options such as the profession is regulated, I have researched about the profession or contacted the related body etc.

The licence is not required for PR, however, it is required for the job in Canada. You will have to complete courses or give exams depending on criteria set by the regulatory body. The analyst does write a note stating if the Education Criteria is met or not and that's the thing that may cause a problem but I haven't seen many examples like that in the past.

For the Last Question, the answer is No. Instead CIC getting more supportive and have set a multi-million dollar budget to get such newcomers qualified and ready for the job. You will be required to get socialise with people of your profession who are helping others and participate in workshops that are training candidates free of cost. I can't predict future but till this government is ruling the future for immigrants seems to be good.

I hope this will help.

Sir I have researched about the license processing but right now I am not eligible as I dont have B.Ed.

If I select yes and then answer that I have researched about it or contacted the authority will it be able to suffice?

I can definately complete a course after becoming a PR.

And last thing sir,

"The analyst does write a note stating if the Education Criteria is met or not and that's the thing that may cause a problem but I haven't seen many examples like that in the past."

What do you mean by this, does it create problem for an applicant if he does not meet the education criteria for related NOC. I have done bachelor 4 yrs by the way but not in education.

Thanks

@Staterun The research questions are completely optional. you don't have to answer this section if you dont want to.

Yes, research questions will not impact your file in any way as they are not part of your file Review.

Analysts Review Qualification to determine if a person has a right education to conduct the work mentioned in selected NOC. This relates to your country of Residence not Cañada.

For example, doctors may have qualifications in country of residence but not in Canada. There Education and Experience will still be accepted. However, if a person doesn’t have a relevant qualification to practice in country of Residence then that experience will be rejected.

This is the most common reason for rejection when you select NOC that is regulated.

I can’t say if your experience will be accepted or not as I don’t have much idea about that and only Analyst will be able to review it and make decision.

I would suggest to search applicants from your field and ask them how they applied and got PR.

I hope this will help.

As far as my country is concerned license is not required to teach here, some teachers have B.Ed and some dont but it is not a mandatory. One can teach if he has studied particular subject or has expertise in it.

And I will provide authentic letter with roles and responsibilities I think then there should not be any problem. What do you think?

Hi Bill, thank you for your post.
I have a question, and would like to hear your comments.
I’m CIC inland applicant AOR May 19, my BG status change to IP2 on September 29. I called CIC on Oct 12th and again on Oct 24th, and both times were told that I passed all the tests and my application was waiting for a final decision; since then I haven’t heard of anything.
It’s been almost a month now, and I really thought that the final decision would come quicker. What do you think? Is there anything that you can think of may cause the delay of my final decision? Thank you so much!
