hi bill...
I got my ECA for M.B.A (Masters) the Highestdegree only. Now should i mention my B.Tech in the Education History or Personal History section?

thanks....

It is your choice and you can just explain in LOE that ECA is obtained for highest degree only and attach documents for other degrees as well.

@BillHyatt.. got the RPRF request on the 8th of August and paid on the 11th but haven't seen any movement in my file ever since. Wondering why it's taking so long?? Would appreciate you response. Thanks

RPRF according to IRCC must be initiated before transferring file for final decision that is IP2 in case where it is shown as not paid in GCMS.

Once you received RPRF then it means your file is almost approved and you should be in IP2 soon or if you are already in IP2 then PPR will arrive soon. Keep checking your EE account.

In your case it seems it's taking a lot more time and the best option is to call them and they will be able to guide you where exactly your file is.

I hope this will help.

Hello Bill,
I have been stuck in Ip2 for a while, however, agents have confirmed that everything is passed and they are waiting for my security report, I have been in IP2 for almost 60 days now. is there common reason for putting me on extensive security screening?

If you are selected for security screening it can take a lot more time than expected. On average I have seen more than 6 months for that. However, it can only be confirmed from GCMS notes if you are actually selected for screening or it just some red flags that need further investigation.

It can be for any reason from visiting a country that is under the radar to working for a company that is facing a legal action.

Thank you Bill, however, the agents have confirmed over the phone that there are no red flags and everything is running smoothly, they are just waiting for "Security reports" what does that mean?

And can security screening entries increase with time?

There can several security reports including reports from either CBSA or CISI. Security screening entries depend on observations of different security institute.

Hello @BillHyatt

I am about to submit my e-APR and just found out that my proof of funds is short by CAD 300 due to some changes in the currency rates. Can I mention in a LOE the situation and that I am willing to bring the full amount with me or do I need to deposit more money? It would take me a long time to get another transcript from the bank and I am afraid that other governmental papers might expire!

Also, do I need to mention any updates about my salary?

Thanks in advance.

hi guys
am having a problem on pdf size in work experience slot/section , I reduced the file size multiple times ( which reveals useless using many apps and even reducing images resolution) but am still at 5MB.

question is : if I split my work experience docs in 2 parts , one in the work experience slot/section , the other at the end of my LOE in the LOE slot/section , would CIC accept all of these docs or it would be a problem ?

I really don't want to get a refused or cancelled application because of files missing nor because of unreadable docs !

Are you at the Upload file stage now? Because work experience actually will have 4MB per work that you indicated. For job 1 = 4mb, job 2 = 4mb, so on and so forth. It isnt 4MB for all job. Unless you only have 1 job there.

You deposit amount first and then get a certificate before submitting E-APR. The requirement clearly states that LICO funds must be available from the date of E-APR till you get your CoPR, however, some applicants from this forum suggest that you retain funds till landing.

You can update the salary and attach LOE for it.

Hi @BillHyatt
Thanks for the great post. Can you clarify if my status stays at "Review whether you meet eligibility requirements" and BG check status "Not Applicable", meaning my file is still under A11 check (A16 had passed earlier)?
Also, will the file be passed on to local visa office only after all checks passed and the file has been approved for PR? thank you
