Bfd does exist(also read Qorax---BFD - explained)....My ist BFD was 9-4-11(Medical submission) and coincidentally Weekend....so my next BFD was 24-5-11...day i got my pp back(damaged)...lets see what happens on next Date i.e 9-7-11(Weekend again)

Yar Qorax was just an applicant like you n me. If BFD does exist than my 3rd BFD has just passed out. I have nothing left to submit. On the other hand there are those applicants who got thr visas within one month of PP submission.

Could you gimme a logic for that??

Applications are not treated in any ORDER what-so-ever once they reach their kind office for visa stamping.

So even you missed the first bfd due to weekend and the next bfd you got passport request. I had a similar situation, my firts bfd was a weekend and 2nd bfd asked to submit pp. I am sure you shud have dm before this weekend. Remember what qorax also said bfd is taken into account if docs pending else they proceed further. If our theory is right then congrats in advance

As per my understanding our cases are taken up as they are received,some processing is done and then next date is marked for next time(so called BFD)
But That date is the Last date for next pick up of that case. If one completes the reqd.formality for next step, that case is picked on the same day the formality was completed(say in case of cb, when damaged passport was received by NDVO) but after that if something more is left or pending, say a report of some security check, next BFD is issued. But again that doesn't mean your file will be picked on that date only, that date is the LAST DATE!
Above mentioned is purely my hypothesis in the simplest terms, how VO functions normally, but sometimes i guess, there are exceptions as it is happening with us, March submissions applicants

My whole page disappeared...in fact My error was different ,E-cas was not recognizing my file.....it happened on 2nd and today it was solved...my status was "in process" before and after.....i submitted my meds on 28th march

I was going through:

I noticed 2 things interesting...this is new format of GCMS...which replaced Caips....1st is Ministerial Instructions....it gets locked in initial stages..so we can rest assured our file is not considered to be in pre 26/6 waiting list...and 2nd is due date(date by which our case has to be finalised)..Due date in our cases is 8 mnths from 2nd AOR.
