22nd July. I know this date because in my old paaport request recd by email on 2nd june said to submit the reqd docs before 22nd july

hmmmmmmmmm. i got it.( so ur definately going to get visas latest by 22nd july on ur next BFD ) But how come i know about my BFD ? Actually my initial BFD was 24th April as i need to submit my PP along with RPRF before 24th April. Thereafter I don't know how to know about next BFD ? Totally in dark ........ :-\

Dear friend,
They have checked all ur documents. They realized that all other documents were o.k. for visa but ur old passports were missing. If they would have had doubt on any other documents then they would have asked u along with old PP's. Hence now u have also send old PP's, so on next BFD u will receive maple leaf on ur passports. Stay +ve yaar..

I don't know about BFD and i have heard about BFD from this forum only. Whatever the case may be but atleast we all should know when can we expect some news for our application. I think there should be some date when our files are to be taken up for further process or could be in this last stage when the third party completes our security check then they submit their report based on that our files might be forwarded for processing. I definately think there should be some procedure in system like BFD which informs Visa officer for processing of particular file out of thousands of pending files... :-\

Hi friends,

Forum has gone very quite this week like NDVO. Seems like everything has stopped and our dreams are shattered. Don't know when this clouds of waiting will move from our life and bring showers of rain to enlighten our life and move ahead from pause to dreams coming true.

Just a logic guys pls suggest if i am wrong. BTW nothing to do so working on different permutations and combinations to understand y we could be stuck. Pls give your valuable replies.

I recd meds request and pp request by letter dated 2nd March to be submitted by 17th April (Falling on Sunday). Now if i had submitted whatever was asked for i would have been thru like others but my old passports were pending.

Since 1st bfd was falling on sunday with documents still pending i was automatically given another bfd 1st june (my gues of another 45 days).

On 2nd june (a working day) exactly after 45 days of 1st bfd, i receive an email from CHC to submit my old passports before the 22nd of July.

Now if i have satisfied the requirements of CHC i should have a decision made before 22nd July as it is a friday (Can be both +ve or -Ve) or by that date they may ask for something new from me if required.

All the above is my theory based on the dates.

Any suggestions welcome.

17th April + 45 days = 1st June (2n dJune email)
2nd June + 50 days = 22nd July (friday fortunately)

BFD's could get pushed further and further maybe 50 days then 60 days and so on. Again just a guess.
