Hi friends... i spoke to my friend who works with immigration department canada.. he said as i have decided to wait.. be it.. 95 days is not a panicking situation..he will speak to a friend in NDVO and try to get some inputs.. i told him regarding our thread. he is unsure whether he can take up the whole "march" issue as there is no solid proof for the same. lest he will try to ask about my case which may be common for all of us.. he further assured that THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY.. hope this is a relief to all my friends in this threadCB said:

Thanks for the wishes yukon..yukon said:July onwards the Visa issuance will pick up considerable pace since CIC/CHC have an estimate of applications to process in 2011. With reduced intake the focus will be on clearing backlogs.
Obviously the first to get the benefit will be applicants with medicals submitted. So get ready for a bumper month of Visas flowing in.....
Do you have any idea of how the BFD is issued . I mean you have mentioned that in your case BFD is for about three months. Are all BFD's for NDVO of same duration ?nitroxn said:According to Qorax, BFD is for about three months. If that is the case I should expect the processing to resume again.
I wish there was a collective way which we could channel our efforts and frustration and send a message to CHC as a group rather than individuals.
It will be since their is a CAP of 10,000 applications from 1 July 2011. With half of the NOC's not reaching 1000 this year (mostly Trade skills), the total intake this year has been around 14500 so half of that will be approx. 7250 next year. That is LESS as compared to the times when they were getting 2,50,000 applications in a year !!!aaycee said:Thanks for the wishes yukon..
But how can we say that intake is going to be reduced.?
They have not changed the NOC List.
Moreover, as compared to last year, they are not changing the application procedure this year.
So i guess, applications from CIO CANADA will keep on pouring consistently into respective visa offices.

Agreed Yukon. But the applicants are waiting for last 3-4 months for which NOC filled quickly last year. They will start sending application from 1st july itself as the maximum cap for each NOC is 500 only. So the intake of application at CIO will be continuous infact it will increase substantially than this month. Moreover CIO is already continuously forwarding files after PER to respective VO's. Hence VO's intake of files is continuously on. Infact the intake of applications will increase as soon as PER are issued to MI3 applicants . As per my knowledge the load will decrease after Christmas as during that time NOC's quota of 500 of some of fast moving will be full.yukon said:It will be since their is a CAP of 10,000 applications from 1 July 2011. Very true. Moreover, there is a speculation that they are going to relax the educational norms as well as some other formalities for other trade skills like plumbers, crane operators so they are also going to increase this year.Silent said:Agreed Yukon. The BFD is issued when a case is looked at and a blocker is found, like missing documents, incomplete background checks etc. In such cases a date is issued (Bring to Forward) Date which is the next date that the file will be re-opened. The next time the file is opened the blocker might be nonexistent and hence case processing proceeds to the next step. I am not certain about the duration but is usually 3-4 months. But i am not sure.Silent said:Do you have any idea of how the BFD is issued . I mean you have mentioned that in your case BFD is for about three months. Are all BFD's for NDVO of same duration ?
