hi placebo, until today i was under the impression that i have only file number and it starts with E. on verification of my documents today i noted that a sticker is pasted where a number starting with B is given along with bar codes. i checked it it the ecas status and it worked. i immediately rang up two of my friends who have received visa and they have the same status as mine. ie. two file numbers. so i dont know what to believe.

further i received a reply from CHC today for my query dated 7th june. it states that my application is under process and CHC is attending to it. (think they like my application so much that they simply dont want to leave it). I received the same reply on 28th april also.. so dont know what they are doing.. no calls or querry from them, just in process. dont know what they are processing so much.....idiots..feeling belittled in front of my friends who have completed medicals after me, in the same NOC and same status, lesser ielts score, lesser work experience etc......but received visa some 20 days back...........god save me..

I have submitted my PP on April 12. Got RPRF encashed receipt on April 19, but no news of visas yet!

well not sure abt whts happening, but nothing is happening for sure....our files are gathering dust at sm isolated place in office,BUT since they have our passports they have to take action...IMO all files pre\post\post feb2008 whatever MI line up in same q after PP submission.

I think unless there is something drastically wrong with our file, we shud get the visa sooner or later. Rejction at this stage must be in extreme circumstances

Rejection for so many cases with similar timelines at this point is next to impossible...rejected cases might have got decision made by now ...its wait for now

Its next to impossible. As per CIC website, RPRF is encashed only when ur case is approved. It is refunded only under 2 circumstances:
1. When you withdraw ur application voluntarily
2. When you are granted visa and you fail to land with in the expiry of the visa..

This situation will change lest the fellow in Heaven thinks otherwise ;D ;D

2. When you are granted visa and you fail to land with in the expiry of the visa..

I`m not one of u who are waiting for visa after completion of mr/ppr/rprf procedure but i share the same experience of waiting...waiting...& ...waiting. i got mr/ppr/rprf request dt 11/4/2011.Medical papers were sent back to VO for rectifiction of names of my kids alongwith rprf dd[got encashed on 30/04/2011]but did`nt get back my medical papers till date. now i can hardly beleive the BF`D FUNDA BY QORAX, our respected senior.I was to submit medicals before 26/5/2011.where are the BF`DATES ?I CAN ONLY SHARE YOUR PAIN AND PRAY TO GOD FOR EARLY GOOD NEWS.
