Okay, this is he reply from one of the pre26 june applicant when I asked him about his longish timeline. He got his visa after 4 mnths post submission.

"Don't worry dear...........if they require more medical tests then they have already been contacted you as it is around 3 months of PP/medical submission. So in think your medical is clear. After medical submission they have to check your security background...............and it will not take much time (if case case processing start date and medical request differ by more than one month) as per my idea.

I did not submit any document after medical submission. i submitted my medical on 1-2-2011 and i had a very long waiting period. In June, NDVO issued lot of visas and they are trying to finalising maximum cases as MI-3 will come into force w.e.f. 1-7-2011 and they do not want another backlog.

I think you will get your passports with maple leaf soon.

Don't lose your patience...........try to research in your field in CANADA"

If you want to put a date to it, I am guessing around August.

hi i have enquired with an october last week applicant. she received both the file numbers..i think its normal. she completed medicals on may 2nd and despatched PPs on 3rd may. visa stamped on 29th may.. so i think our useless VO is keeping our case pending..

Hello all,
well i am also in the same boat,pp misplaced seems more likely theory, They wake up only after u send then 2-3 emails and fax like in my case, after repeated requests they informed me regarding damaged passport after 56 days(which they cud have in 7 days of receiving documents), now i have submitted pps again on 13th june
CB

i completed my CIIP session today, i met 4-5 applicants with B05... file no and pp submission in march. no news for them too..
CB

Oh yeah CB even u had to resubmit passport which they could have informed you much earlier. The saying haste makes waste holds true for all of us who tried to diligently send our pp and meds as soon as possible.

ya i know that it is misplaced. they dont take much pains to identify the same. once they receive it they take some action. some bunch of passports which are ready for visa stamping might have been misplaced which include all of us. lets us pray to god that it is identified soon..There is no other reason for the delay as we belong to different NOC and FTH also differs.

Further it is impossible to assume that we are included in the pre june category as it is clearly mentioned in our file number allotement letter that "our case is being considered on the basis work experience in an occupation specified in the instruction published in the Gazzette dated 26th june "

I agree with all the theories placed but what about Shareen' case. She also submitted her passport
nearly same date. If all the passports are in a bunch and it got misplaced then how she got visa, how CB'
passport identified as damaged ones.
I believe the B05... theory is more relavent , case of pre june and post june identity.

BTW, great work Mahi, to start this thread,as its more like a home, all are in a same boat and at least
we can reach some kind of consenses sooner or later.
