No change in ecas - address still missing...

Not sure if u have chked the 26/6 thread..read there as posted by bahar...that he contacted his MP and he was told that he should hear something from Buffalo by oct 2012..he applied in feb 2011. so if this timeline is to be followed..i guess you would also hear from them around the same time...and i would have to wait even longer ...not sure how to handle this news ...really does anyone know why Buffalo is so slow...? there has to be a valid reason and I am not sure I see or understand it !
Is your address is still there on Ecas, mine address is missing since January 27, 2012. Buffalo is the slowest visa office and they have highest number of applications pending for processing. 40% applications are submitted to buffalo for immigration and 60% are submitted in rest of world visa offices. In this scenario immigration department should provide more resources to buffalo visa office.

Yes, my address also has been missing since jan 27th...not yet back...no change in ecas.

Buffalo has the highest number of applications pending for processing - this is probably because of their own inefficiency than coz of the volume of applications...and if they really do have that kind of volume then i agree that more resources should be provided...rather than putting the applicants thru the pain of waiting for more than 2 years for processing when rest of the VOs are processing files in 12 months...Life is so unfair :(

Hi Edmontonion204, please check your inbox.

My timelines are very similar to yours. I also have FSW application (submitted in March 2011) and in RBVO since April 2011. Waiting is still going on ... and now that one year has passed, it has started to become frustrating :s

Now that one year has passed for my application also, this wait is becoming frustrating :s
I wish if Buffalo VO could also process FSW applications in one year frametime, as other VOs are processing.

I have two friends who applied in buffalo under PNP, and both got their PR within one year.

It looks like that Buffalo VO is only taking more time for FSW applications. Not sure why?
Lets hope that soon our applications will be processed!

Hi Indusvision,
One year has passed and nothing has happened. can't do anything except wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I am a June 2011 applicant still waiting patiently...Hopefully it doesn't take 25 months as indicated on the CIC website...

25 months are for Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010.

We are the applicants who applied On/After 26 June 2010 :-)

Not sure what is the timeline going to be for us?
Wish if it could be faster (around 12 to 13 months), as it is for PNP applications!

Sharing some hopes:

Buffalo Applicants

Good New or I can say some news...My Application Status has changed to
In Process from RBVO.

Canada 1 ( Ajay )

Today one year has passed after PER date, :'( Address missing since January 27, :'( Still RBVO Because it's Buffalo, :'( Noting can be done except wait. :'( No hope for buffalo VO. :(

Wait, wait and wait ... ... ... more than a year has passed for the application in Buffalo office, and still in RBVO.

It looks like they have stopped processing the applications. Is there a kind of break? or they are too slow? I hope they should rather get faster because they no more have any backlog of applications prior to 28 February 2008.

Re: Post 26/6 who still have RBVO from Buffalo Visa Office - please connect here

There are new release from the ministry that Points system for FSW will be reformed and could have an impact for existing applications who are waiting in the queue!

It's been 18 months still in RBVO ...

Buffalo is taking their own time in the name of more applications processed..

Anybody applied in FSW2 with AEO ?? Got any updates other than RBVo??

It looks another year we have to wait..

FSW 2 AEO iS Specific to an employer. VO would request you to provide a letter from your employer stating your position is indeterminate during your medical...You need to be on workpermit during your stamping request not on study visa for FSW2 AEO ctageory...

Check with you employer to extend else apply for CEC ctageory... and the new is after ministers new release, post june 2012, CEC requires only 12 months of work experience..so you would be eligible for that too..

Cheers..

thanks pskr .. but it's really sad to go for another option after almost 18 months wait.....
