Honestly, I'm so frustrated with these people. The Abu Dhabi visa office is just ridiculous. How can you make people pay 700 dirhams and then make them wait so long that they miss their classes? I mean, I've had to pay around 700dirhams for the application, 800 dirhams for the medical test, 1400 dirhams to travel abroad and give my biometrics. And they don't even have the decency to process the permits before the start of term? If it takes so long for y'all, why don't you hire more employees? Or if you know you can't process so many applications before start of term, why don't you set a deadline; a last date we can submit applications or, a limit to how many applications you can take?
I now feel like we should've applied in April instead of June. But I wish they had let us known that such and such date is the deadline if you want your visa by September. They knew that Labour day and Eid holidays were coming up. Why didn't they make the necessary preparations??
I'd expected more efficiency from these people. Sigh.
