But I think thn it’s normal coz they’ve called few ppl for an interview lately
In the meanwhile, have you received any first hand experience from someone about the interview for TRV? I know people who were called for PR, but that’s a totally different affair

Yes, inshallah I will get my TRV Approved after the interview.

Thanks for the best wishes Kira
Also, do you have any ideas whether they tell on spot about approval or rejection? And stamp the passport same day? (I’m saying as I read a very old post from 2011)

I understand your sentiments.... you would like to fly out of Riyadh to Canada on the same day after your interview :)

No, visa stamping won't happen right there and then. If approved, the visa officer would hint at that possibility during the interview or may even tell you that they will contact you later for your passport.

You would then need to wait for that passport request letter or email.... and submit your passport to the VAC/VFS. You can then expect your processed passport to be returned to you in about max. one week

@Bryanna
That’s alright I mean I won’t mind to wait for another week or 2 coz I’ve been waiting for like 1 year. I can wait for passport request.

Like you said even if I get a hint about my TRV approval... I’ll be flying in the sky lol

@Bryanna

Hahaha thank you Bryanna
. Please prepare me for my interview
First, I'm trying to figure what they can possibly ask you. Some thoughts:
1. As your application went through extensive background and security checks, you would need to recollect little details about your stay in KSA (growing up there) + Australia + Pakistan

2. Anything you didn't disclose in your TRV application that may have worked against you or which triggered off the extensive checks?

3. Why you haven't returned to Australia in almost a year?

4. Your marriage (to prove it is a genuine marriage)

5. If you think someone in your immediate family could be inadmissible.... or if s/he had applied earlier to Canada and was refused

how can they take into account whether your family members are inadmissable or not. they are not the ones applying and that would be so unfair...

@Bryanna

1. Well i remember everything about staying/growing up in ksa... Australia + Pakistan. I've mentioned each every detail with dates and duration of my stay in Saudi, Australia and Pakistan. I've sent a copy of my old passports with a exit/re-entry stamps are on basically every page on my passport plus the visas's of the country i have visited in the past. My Australian Business Tax returns copy of my business registration certificate etc etc.

2. I dont think i have not disclose any information.... I was never removed or refused from any country in my life.

3. I have legit reasons coz of my parents health/ Property / Personal issues in Pakistan. (its been an year and you know a lot of things can change at the time i applied it was different i was goin back to Australia and then later i couldn't )

4. Yes i have provided all the legal evidence like ( Pakistani Gov registered marriage certificate + My wedding setup pics + my wedding day pics with both families groom & Bride...you know how our weddings are huge arrangements big setups 300-400 ppl).

5. No one in my entire family ever applied or refused for Canadian visa. (In-laws are all Canadian by birth).

(My father-in-law asked his Canadian lawyer friend to run a BG check on me and it was all clear)
