I am reaching out to request assistance with a technical issue I encountered during the Portal 2 process for my PR application under family sponsorship. Recently, I was instructed to provide an email address to create an account for uploading my photo, as required at this stage of my application. However, I mistakenly provided an email address (helentran250517gmail.com) that had previously been used to create a representative account. This account was created a long time ago at the beginning of the application process, and I did not realize that I needed to use my email address specifically for the applicant account instead of the representative account.

As a result, I am currently unable to create a new account to upload my photo as required. I would like to use helentran250517gmail.com to create my applicant account for uploading my picture, as this has now become my default contact information. Could you please provide guidance on how I can resolve this issue or assist me in resetting the email to allow me to set up my account correctly?

Email back to the same thread you received in P1 explaining your situation. Additionally, submit a webform as well! In the meantime, you can call IRCC and let them know about this issue!

Agree with Hyper1013. IRCC agent is able to tell you if the representative email became your primary contact email (I suggest to change it anyway as you don't have access to it). And there is nothing you can do to log in to PR portal if you don't know password and can't reset it. Contacting the representative might be an option as well

You just have to be patient! As mentioned before by me and the IRCC agent over the phone, you have to submit a webform (which you did), reply to the same P1 email explaining your situation (which you did). All the steps that was required by IRCC, you've completed it! Just WAIT for the P2 credentials to be sent to you in your new email! You cannot expect them to send you the P2 within 5 minutes after correcting it! Just be patient and you'll get it soon! Probably by this week!
