Hey everyone! Hope u guys are having a good wken.

I just wanted to give you all an update on my file. This morning I checked ECAS (with my hubby's info) and the following is what it states.


'We received your application for permanent residence on April 29, 2011.

We started processing your application on July 27, 2011.

Medical results have been received.'

Neewhooos.....Im headed off to check out the Caribana parade! Take care.

congrads canada2010. Ive submitted in feb and havent even received aor as yet only saw file transfer in early april on the site.

Thank you. I hope you hear from POS soon brianguyana. From reading this forum I've realized that some ppl don't even see anything on ECAS and some dont even get an AOR and yet it all works out in the end. So stay strong and best of luck!

As for me....I don't know what it means....POS is sooo unpredictable.....so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Ecas has been saying Application received on February 7 since April for my I am hoping that we will get an update this week for him, my wife received PPR from buffalo last Friday

Well....today is my anniversary. Again My husband and I will spend it apart. I really hope after this medical re-do this will end quickly!! Congrats to all with updates.

Processing times have been changed on CIC's website. POS has decreased to 14 months....down 1 whole month! At least it didn't increase!

I guess a decrease of processing time for POS is a good thing

This is really good, before that their times were 16mths. Every time they update they decrease the times. Im really happy for you Can2010, as least we know they are working. Everyone keep your heads up, I foresee short application times.

My family sponsorship went through in November 2010 applying for 2 persons (we thought we could not afford to apply for 3) but we were advised to submit some more financial documents which actually proved that we could have applied for 3. However, since then, we have not heard from them and do not know what to expect.
