Hello. Still no progress. I'm also hoping that they try and get rid of the older applications and let us just carry on with our lives. Its so hard not hearing a word, not knowing where u stand until they good and ready for u

So I was able to link my Ecas with GCKEY and this is what it shows

Application/profile status- Open

Review of eligibility- Review in Progress

Review of medical results- Passed

Review of submitted documents- Blank

Scheduling an interview- Not needed at this time

A background check is needed- Not Started

Final decision- Not Started

So I contacted IRCC and they advised that they received my application in POS VO on November 28, 2016 and Medical will expire June 6, 2016 - They said they received proof that I applied for the Police Certificate and they are waiting for the Police Certificate which they are expecting to received by Mid March. They advised that Eligibility has not initiate as yet. stupid Police certificate takes so long... we applied for it in October of last year and we are still waiting for it.

I would like to know how did you contact them, phone or email? Also, how come PCC is taking so long, what country you requested the certificate?

I am applying through PNP
13 SEP - cic
15 DEC - AOR
18 JAN - FT

Awaiting for MR, however I am considering doing an upfront medical

They kept telling me the file is in queue so I contacted my MP office and had them contact them...PC is suppose to come from Cuba...it's 4 months and Feb 9 will make 5 months since the request was made....

I realize they will never gave me a straight answer. Hence, why I took the other step...was getting frustrating seeing everyone else from Ottawa office, new delhi etc getting DM and nothing from POS except file is in the queue...

I know it sucks...I live in Canada...I am spousing my husband. Thank you! and All the best to you! keep us updated! As we would like to know how fast POS office is moving on APPs received.

Call you local MP office and have them contact IRCC and you will get a update...it's a better Update than if you contact them yourself...i am up to speed and i now know they are waiting on PC from Cuba before starting the initial eligibility.

Hi guys - I am PNP sorry about posting here but there isnt much information around for POS VO. Can anyone advise on FSW or PNP applications being processed/background checks done in POS? If not, how is POS processing generally? My file is currently there.

Yea its only a few of us with the POS VO. There is one other person here who is PNP maybe he/she can help. As for the rest of us we are just waiting in the dark for our background checks to start
