Hello All,

Hope all is well with everyone. This week was my 3 year anniversary for my FSW application. I am hoping to hear something from CHC this January as my CAIPS notes say that my BF'D is 15 Jan 2011. I think the FSW and Family applicants are a bit in the same boat. Even though your processing time is 6-12 months it must be very stressful being separated from your spouse for that length of time. Just imagine a FSW applicant waiting 51 months (new revised processing time) 4 years 3 months. This is very hard. Sometimes I get real V-E-X with CHC and then I have to calm myself and say "In the Lord's time".

Well I am looking forward to Christmas with my family and I wish everyone the best. Hope there is good news soon for everyone.

I am pretty sure if I did an audit on all my rejections with the Government of Canada and unnecessary spending I will find that they owe me enough money to take me and my partner on a 5 star all inclusive somewhere in the world. I should look into that once I am through with this process.

Heyyyy everyone,

Hope all is well :)

Hello room long time..

Well, hope all is well on your side! Here I am over 6months without a frikken AOR from POS................UGH!

Have a blessed weekend everyone!!

We all are sitting in the waiting game right now :S :(

Wassuppp POS????

they must be working hard. i dont think there are lots of people right now going for canadian visas as its pretty cold this time of year. the tourist rush has to be over. the only possiblity is if they have been instructed to deal with the Haiti cases because of the cholera epidemic and this information has not been made public.

You may be right Honeybird. And hopefully they are preparing letters of request (docs/medicals) for the next batch of 2007 applicants ;D that will a lovely new years present

IMHO guys, I think when they receive the applications they do a quick assessment and determine on the spot if it should be fast tracked or put in their backlog depending on any circumstances they themselves have noticed.

Otherwise, I think the majority of the backlog is partly due to them giving priority processing to applicants from Haiti. I am not sure why they have chosen the POS office but I think it would have been fair if they had split the processing with 2 or more visa offices.

That being said, the last day I was on their website which, btw, has changed up a lot, they said something like "until further notice we will be processing applications for people from a list of other countries that usually go through the Haiti office" That was nice to read but GET MORE EFFING VOs AT THE POS TO MAKE PROCESSING FAIR FOR THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MONTHS NOW.

Sometimes this process only makes me want to pick up the phone, call the POS office and given dem sum dutty dutty cussing. LOL.

iti is really unfair that the 'refugees' get more priority than reuniting canadians with their families.
i think that is something that should be pointed out.

HONEY, what the hell is with all those negatives????????

I went to the trinidad web site and confused is correct, I was unaware of this.
This really sucks giant tyrannosaurus testi's.

Honeybird, I am siding with you on that.
