Hey you guys, random question, I was reading up alot that people also handed in things like western union receipts and stuff to show that their sponsor gives financial support, we don't have any of those as I have always been employed, is that going to be a problem?

Hey tdguy

No it's not going to be a problem - my hubby too Basically supports himself, i usually send money on special ocassions as a gift like birthday or valentine money (something like that) or i will top up his phone and keep the receipts.

That question would have also been in your questionnaire - I remember my hubby answering the question by saying my wife gives approx 50 to 60 bucks every three months and he made it clear he works and takes care of himself

Review your questionnaire can't remember the IMM form number
There's also a trick to this ill in box you later ....he he he

Yeah I did remember that question from the questionnaire, my wife also sends me phone credit, to which she keeps the receipts as well..

Well that's good , be sure wify and yourself are keep the receipts because that a great example of proof of on going relationship because Basically that's what they are looking for.

Just keep all your current chats after you submitted your application back in November - send chats to email, print them off and keep them if needed or requested,

But yes, review your questionnaire form to see what you indicated in the section they ask about financial support

Good luck
My friend

I remembered what I put, I put no. But we did mention in cover letter that she sends me phone credit to call Canada, as it is much more cost efficient for me to call her from here. BTW she is going to be here this weekend!! :D

Hey Tdguy not having any western union receipts will not be a problem at all...You know what a lot of ppl don't say and western union receipts can do good and it can do harm because some officers look at it as using there spouse for money. But if I was you I would not worry about it my fren....just send in any evidence that you have between you and your spouse and the both of you will be find.... I seen ppl send a lot of evidence and get denied and I see a lot of ppl that hardly send any evidence and get there PR....It is just depend on with officer that dealing with a person application and the mood that they are in..lol

okay cool, i see what youre saying maddants, makes sense....

hey Tdguy.... No problem....this sponsorship thing is unfair for a lot of different reason and everyone should know that also.... I sure would love for everyone to get there visa but some will and some wont. The only thing we can do is pray to God and have faith in him... I have a documentary show name The Secret.... I would love for everyone to watch it... You see what happen to a person in his lifetime is ment to happen do matter how you take we as humans take it... God gave us the knowledge to know a lot of thing but he also don't want us to know everything because if we did we would just be like him. So that why some ppl know other things that we don't know and we know things that they don't know but everything goes together. Try and get that show name the Secret and you will sure understand about life......Maddants

HI everyone!! After 5 months of collecting documents I am sending in our application tomorrow!!!!! I feel like a weight has been lifted but also anxious to start the waiting game.

I am applying for spouse sponsorship...outland

A little history...My husband and i got married in 2009...I lived with him in Trinidad from then till august 2015. In august i moved back to Canada to start the process. We have two kids aged 5 and 4. He has no criminal history and has never been in canada. I am working part time and staying with my parents until he comes. I sent in our chat logs, call logs, a photo timeline from 2008 till now with pictures of us and our kids and family. I sent Fb ,essages as well from friends who couldnt attend our wedding. I also sent in copies of our kids birth certificates. (our kids are Canadian through me they were both born in trinidad)...

I am hoping and praying we are reunited this year :)

Your case sounds pretty straight forward, wishing you and your family all the best, I dont think you should be worried...
