Hi everyone.. Well stayed away for a while because I had bad luck right from the start with my application. I apply may 6. Was not approved to spondsor until August 30th. My application was received in port of Spain on October 3rd.I spoke with my husband over the weekend who told he he received the AOR on Saturday October 10.. Gt I know what u are going through it is very frustrating. I remember tear would come to my eyes when I would call missiauga every week only to be told to call back next month.it took 4 months for my first stage approval. I had the mp involve and still I didn't get any where. I hope that my luck have change.. I email port of Spain since in may and never got any response.. U see St. Joseph hospital had a fire and the medical department got burn to the ground. I am worried that maybe the doctor didn't send out my medical when he claim he did. I did the medical two weeks before the fire took place.. I am all drain and just going through the motion right now. I come to realize it's the luck of the draw. Keep the faith people..good luck to all..

Damn! However your application, mine and mancrab has all been received in September/October so hopefully we will all get through in the same time frame! If not then you definitely know that something went wrong with submission of the medical! However keep the hope! :) We are here to support each other! Lets just give each other some positive and happy vibes!!!! ;)

Hang in there GT! I think we've all shed a tear or two through this entire process. If you were approved in August why did it take until October for your application to reach Port of Spain? Thats great that your husband received an AOR. My application was also filed a week after yours May.

When I called CIC here in Canada they mentioned that the applications are forwarded to Trinidad right away (via courier) after the approval. I tried to inquire more about the AOR process in Trinidad & the CIC rep told me (very sternly) "Do not worry. It will arrive. :-[Your husband will be contacted, not you." :-[ :-[ :-[

Hi Gtwifey, sorry my bad. My application was approved by missiagauga on August 30th. It was forward on the same day to port of Spain. The letter that my husband received stated that it was received at port of spain on October 3rd. They asked him if he had any addition information to send that he should send it in within 30 days of receiving the letter. It also stated that if he does not hear from them in 6 months he should contact them.. Oh and they asked for his email address.6 months? Do you believe these people?dam. We are now in the process of rounding up the plane ticket stubs, receipts, cards, money mart receipts, phone bills, too much to mention. I am hoping it is smooth sailing from here on.

Again don't know why I keep stating it was received in port of Spain October 3rd. It was received in port of Spain on August 3rd... There I think these people have kill some of my brain cells..lol.. Have a good day everyone.

Hey don't worry about it.
but they took about 3 weeks to send it to pos.
cause my decision was made july 23 in missiguaga and it reached the embassy (according to their letter) on the 10th August. So three weeks by courier? Pleasseeeeeeeeeeee.

hey all, I am too exhausted with this process ... arggghhhhh ..... I don't know what else to look out for :( A month was up yesterday since my interview and I still haven't heard from the VO.... perhaps a letter is in the mail for me :S

call them! But i think they closed today.

they dont answer case specific inquiries over the phone so calling wouldn't make any difference

what about fax?

that too is hopeless.... every form of communication with that office is HOPELESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSss

Hey room

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far :D

just bumping this thread up..any news anyone?
