Is it true that you have to get an approval letter from port of Spain before they send back passport with decision made?

I have news guys. My Ecas changed to decision made. Well they have my PP since March 13th so let's hope it comes back soon.

Lg, not sure what you mean here by approval letter?? Once you get the PPR letter - to the best of my knowledge, there is no other letter after that. You just need to wait now for the passport to be returned to you with the visa inside. Usually they also send back any documents and photos that you put in the application package. Unless this part of the process has changed.......

Decision made is just the ecas update part. Hoping you get your passport back in time to travel with hubby in April. Blessings.

Just got word from POS, my file is in queue for final review and I should be receiving my passport back within a week. This is good news right? Its been tough but we are hoping for some great news sooner than later.

This is great news!! Did you get an e-mail from them? I think they have had your PP since Nov. right? That's slow and must be annoying . Have you already paid the RPRF? Sometimes ecas will update with decision made before they return your passport as well. Get ready for Canada! Blessings. p.s. Happy Anniversary, I believe you said it was near the end of March so no more anniversaries apart!! 8)

Yes, I got an email. I have paid all my fees a long time ago. My delay was with my FBI report which I received and mailed in recently (took me 15 weeks 5 days to receive). POS have had my PP since Feb 23 and only received my FBI report on March 17 to complete my application and requests.

I have some news....My ECAS has changed to decision made. Just used my tracking # and its in transit.
