Hi guys im new and i just found out my application was sent pos so i sent them an email and this is what they said

This Family Class application was received by our office after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. Following an initial review, this application was queued for interview and is currently awaiting its turn for scheduling, based on the date it was received. Interviews are normally conducted at the High Commission of Canada in Port of Spain. Once an interview date is scheduled, the applicant will receive an appointment/interview letter approximately four to six weeks before interview.

im wondering does he have to go to pos if so that is crazy i need some help going crazy

Welcome canjammer, yes the interview is held in POS and he has to go there. Try not to worry about it. You should start preparing your proof of relationship in the meantime.

I received my letter two months before the interview and both my husband and myself were asked to be interviewed but god was so good to me, I still wonder why they never interviewed my husband although they did ask for a number to reach him. Remain calm and keep in mind that all things are possible with GOD.

its not the interview im worried about its the fact that i have to start saving about cls to 1000$cnd for him to go to pos that so not fair y cant they just have it in ja where his applicant was sent...this process is just crazy i didnt send my application to pos i sent it to kingston

Since you sent your file to kingston, it's really unfair to have your interview in POS, even though your file was sent there. I hope that's not going to be the case.

Thank you Faith.

Hey all , just an update -- hubby got his fine paid and is sending everything in this week. Im a little worried (as usual) they asked to make sure that the proof of fines paid have specific dates of when they were paid. I know I read somewhere that one has to wait 5 years from the end date of the sentance (in this case his fines being paid) to become admissable to Canada again, I know I also read that if it was more than 10 years ago and the charge was a sentance of the equivilant of less than 10 years jail time he is okay.
Well as long as all goes well, the next step will be the Authorization to Return and than hubbys homecoming! Keep us in your prayers :)

Hi mizzdanish,
I'm Very happy for you. :D
your prayers have been answered. Don't be worried your Heavenly Father already worked things out for you. Start garthering all documents for Arc (stop worrying) all will be well
Thank you lord for providing.

Hi CanJammer,
Welcome to POS, STOP stressing out yourself focus on gathering your documents, go through the interview questionnaire with hubby to ensure he's ready for any question they ask. Things will work out in the end with location, immigration will realize the error they have made. (It's already a pricey process).

Prayers work Hun you will be fine. :)
