Hi everyone! So sorry for the longggg absence... work has been crazy and I've been rushing around trying to get things nice for hubby's arrival. Thank you to mrs parkin, faith25, faith 786, two hearts, daddy's girl, blessedone and precious for all of your well wishes and support. A huge shout out to my 2013 cheerleaders, CdnTrini and MissD.

Congrats to everyone that has seen some progress on their file. Let our story be a testament that it all works out in the end. The end may take longer for some over others but it truly all does come to an end.

Small update for us, hubby's passport appears to be on its way back already! They're finally moving with some fire under them so that bodes well for all you guys as well!!!!!!!! so the countdown to a landing story is truly on.

Hi Faith

I applied in Aug 2012 as common law. My hubby was interviewed and they found our relationship to be genuine however did not believe we lived together despite tons of proof. We refused to get married just cuz CIC wanted us to. So we were denied. So instead of appealing we took a break from the process. Hubby and I went to England for 4 months and just did our thing. Finally decided on our own time to get married this past June and I applied a second time in August 2014.

MissD, I know it has been a hard road for you guys but I have to say, I love your story and am so proud of you guys for sticking it out and doing it on your terms.

Also, was I dreaming or did you get an AOR?!?!

Hi everyone it's been a while since I've been on the forums, welcome to all the newbies, congrats to those who have gotten through and best of luck to those still waiting, your day will come too

As for myself, for those who remembered my story (if not you can read my timeline) I officially landed in the beginning of September. Hubby came to pick me up from the states and we both drove to Canada
The landing was very smooth and straightforward we were probably in there for no more than 10 minutes. They asked a few questions on what I was bringing and after signing a few forms the officer said welcome to Canada! Hubby and I have bought a house and busy trying to get settled. It's been a stressful process but we are very thankful with how quickly we got through.

Thanks again to all those who gave advice and to those still waiting be patient pos may surprise you!

So what kind of question do they ask just the standard how where and when you met, if you don't mind me asking anything out of the ordinary. I did get a invite for and interview in 20 days plus they requested like 500 forms that they already have uuuggrrr

Thank you precious..i received a letter in my email for ppr for my son on October 28th. They sent the generic letter requesting photos and passport.
Did anyone else here have to send additional photos? I know i dont have to send his passport as we fo not require travel visas for canada.
