Hello Lovely O&O, how are you and hubby doing -speaking of Valentine's celebrations ;)? I will pop over to your thread to see if you have posted any updates there. I hope you are both settling well, it takes some time especially once the "honeymoon" is over :D but it eventually you find a rhythm as a couple. For most of us the challenge is living together for the first time!! Can I get a witness anyone :p?? Blessings.
Hello darling we're doing wonderful thanks for asking hubby landed on valentines day so it's now a very special day every year. Happy he's home living together is amazing.

Hi everyone . Congratulations to everyone and their updates. Sorry to say I have none but I notice that medical result received on my ecas and it was never there before. Does that mean that I have an interview since they never wrote in process? Im clueless here.
Hi blessedone1, thanks for stopping by. You do have an update if your file now says meds rec'd :D so that means your file is still seeing some action. It does not mean anything about an interview one way or another yet. Most people's files will get "meds received" before in process anyway. When I submitted our app. as soon as I was able to view ecas it said from day one "application rec'd, meds rec'd.

Generally speaking if a person's ecas changes to in-process that means the interview was waived. I believe most people are notified by letter either snail mail or e-mail (if that is how they have requested to be contacted) if an interview is going to be required.

Just because your status has not yet changed to "in process" does not mean you have been selected for an interview. So stay encouraged, as you will see by the stats some members have been processed very quickly lately, and be hopeful that you will have another positive update soon. Blessings.

Relica - that is great! congratulations - any day now we'll have another landing story!
O&O - Congratulations - finally a reason to make V-Day a happy holiday!

C&T - thanks girl! I'm not convinced... i think maybe they just dumped our file in the recycling after the interview. I keep hurting myself (winter has been rough on me this year one broken arm and a sprained knee... this morning i just re-sprained it). When I'm hurt, it makes hubby crazy that he can't spoil me and take care of me which is really stressful because not only am I then in physical pain but also in the worst kind of pain... the emotional pain. I'm just so happy for everyone that is seeing the fruits of POS' labor and simultaneously wondering whose cornflakes we peed in to make them ignore us. oh well... such is life.

Do you all think it would be beneficial to inquire as to the status... they told us a month from the interview date... it has now been a couple of weeks past that but I don't want to anger them into making a decsion either...

Hi Can-Vinc, nice to see you :D sorry that you keep hurting yourself. I hear you about the pain though....one kind is bad enough!!! My opinion about inquiring on the status would be to go for it, especially as you can "quote" the officer as saying you would hear back in a month. I really do not believe an inquiry would sway the final decision one iota (God help us all if that is how our system works) but I can understand that you are so stressed out right now that anything "feels" possible. Me - I would not be able to stop myself from sending a polite e-mail inquiry. What does hubby think? A few more members may chime in so keep us posted and look after yourself :-*. Blessings.

Hey Everyone!!
its been so long since I have posted just busy with like everything it seems. Hubby has finally booked his ticket March 12th he will be here coming on Fly Jamaica big price difference between them and CAL. Nothing with us has changed just now the big push is on for him to get all his ends tied or I'm going to tie them for him at this point. We just leased our place here and I got possession of it last week so I have to pack, move and clean HELP!?

Hello Melferr, as Cdn&Trini mentioned I am from Guyana been here all my life pretty much since 2 years old Hubby and I meet when I was 15 visiting and he was 17 we pretty much were teenage sweethearts but the distance obviously took a toll on us being so young however we will be married one year next month; our story was very very simple no kids, no previous applications or anything, millions of pictures from over 10 years, phone logs etc we have house and bank accounts in Guyana and he also has his own business hence why he couldn't just pick up and leave when he got his PP back. Our marriage certificate also got delayed, we got married in march but didn't end up getting our certificate until June but it worked to our favour in a way I went home in end of May to June and we did all our paperwork together. My hubby's case got through in about 3.5-4 months so congratulations on getting approved and receiving the PPR. Our cases show that POS, CIC can accomplish things they just need to keep this momentum going for everyone else who's waiting and applying in the future.

Congrats LouisFam on landing and a big congratulations to Zouk on your growing family. HIIIIII cdn&trini, behopeful, missd, brit (aren't you happy to be back in the cold) and everyone else!!
Hey! Lol no im not happy AT ALL to be bk man. This weather is brutal but im sure you seen my updates and Ecas changed to "In Process soooo were celebrating that :) 4 months it took so I must say theyre moving were just waiting in vain for the PPR.

Thanks chickie72!! You are in my thoughts and prayers a lot these days (even more than normal :D) as Kingston seems to be hustling to complete their stats before their March fiscal year end. Hugs and blessings.

1. Both the sponsor and the applicant have a UCI# different from each other. (Someone can correct me if I am wrong but i believe this will also become part of their permanent residence #)
2. The B# you were referring to before is the number they give your actual PAPER file that floats from officer to officer.
3. The F# is the applicant file number that is his application #.

You can only log into ECAS with 1 or 3. Both can be found on the letter that CIC sent your when you were approved as a sponsor. If you want to see your information, you can log in with your UCI # and your information (last name, DOB & country of residence). This will only be updated up to the time you receive your approval to sponsor. After that time, start looking at the ECAS using either your Hubbies UCI# or the F# and his information. Any changes after it gets to POS (ie, in process, decision made etc) will be all on this part of ECAS. Hope that helps.

hey chickie 72

thx a lot for your reply A make since now , I'll give its till the end of this month to try again , my case is a bit different , i share my story while back but yeah , our file sort of kink off got sent pack to POS for re-process after we won the appeal , and not to long ago I found out the the resend the file via diplomatic courier ( whatever that is ) and a has to go through the board service and stuff and that can cause delay . I'm hoping a praying it's there already but yet again I have to yet till POS contact us .
since the application was denied the closed the file , so I have to wait till VO get it and probably I'll be able to check the ecas .
thx a lot Be blessed
