Hey my girl nice to see and hear your cheerful self. I think the other folks are using WestJet but hubby and I are coming home on Caribbean Airlines as they have later departure times. And if I know my husband we will still be scrambling to catch the flight .

The good thing is, since WestJet started flying here, Caribbean Airlines has had to become more competitive. Plus you can take 2 bags for free and we need to bring 3 out of 4 bags of hubby's stuff (I get one bag!!) Also an interesting little side note - the flight I took to arrive in Trini this past Oct. 30, 2013 I actually recognized one of the flight attendants that I had spoken with over 6 years ago on my first flight home after meeting hubby (May 2008). She remembered me as well (we had chatted) and so I got to fill her in on the whole story and how it had come full circle. So that was nice. We may even see her again when we fly back together.

So Kingston, please wake up and provide some stories for our friends and neighbors in JA to be telling!!! PPRs, AORs, Visas......please God shower favour and blessings on those who have been waiting well since 2012! We claim victories in November and December 2013.

so we finally got an email from POS on what we need to do next. HOPEFULLY, this will be the last thing to cause im really getting annoyed of all this paper work. They email us the Authorization to return to Canada form.

Has anyone recently had to do a RCMP clearance (for those of us that have had spouses that lived in Canada)? I'm so torn on this...

So far my husband hasn't been asked for an RCMP. If the name is very common then they will request one.

good afternoon. In the process of doing your background checks, the VO will automatically send for your RCMP clearance via email, if your hubbies name is close to someone elses then they may request fingerprints to be done or if you husband had criminal charges or any type of activity with the police in Canada, then they will request fingerprints also. If everything is clear, then you won't even know they were done....i only figured out mine because I seen it in my notes! Hope that helps.
