Very serious! I know. Fedex sucks. Maybe they will just send back important originals and pics and toss the heavy photocopies.

Hubby is not nervous at all. He is naturally good at remembering dates and events. I always have to ask him, "hey, where was this pic taken or when did we visit X" and he always knows. Lol. I may have scared him too much lol. I told him he had to be prepared to answer any detail that was in our app.. today he informed me he memorized the date is passport was issued and expires Lol. Oops. I had to explain that I meant details about US and things we have done together and he was like, "but I already know those." Lol He is not nervous at all. I am running around getting every phone bill and skype chat and he`s cool as a cucumber. Good for him though

How'd you know! Spent money of lululemon sweaters and really splurged and bought a Canadian Goose vest. He already has North Face vest and jackets so it was needed but he felt better! LOL my husband is a brand name person, me not so much!

Hello Behopeful, good to see you......I am trying to shield my hubby from the "brand name game" but once he's here, all bets are off ....your man has the shopping knowledge from his previous time in Canada, I'll have to wait and see what happens when I take hubby for his first winter jacket! The brand name thing is a battle for sure. He always tries to sneak buying socks from a high end store and that is something I won't budge on! Socks from Walmart are no different than those from any other store!
Hubby has officially been here for a week and things are wonderful!
Are you getting excited for your trip? I know you said you mom in law will apply for a VISA, what do you think your chances are? We want to ask for a VISA for my husbands brother but not sure when to do it. Likely will wait a while and get settled. He wants to visit but has no desire to stay so hope he can come eventually, no rush!
Enjoy the weekend everyone... With many of us landed or landing, we will all have our weekends back again and can relax without hoping for Monday to come quickly!

I'm still here don't worry. Took a short trip back to Dominica for a few days to see my family, so they had me pretty busy! Plus I figured you guys had enough going on here to keep yourselves busy ;D

Major congrats to everyone on the PPR's, PP returns, landing stories and all other forms of progress! It's great to see so much excitement in here after so many months of silent frustration. When it rains, it truly pours!

@Miss D, not 100% sure about the medical redo process, but I would assume they'd issue a new receipt for you to forward to POS. Just ask when he's getting it done, they'll let you know for sure.

@Ms Ruby, only your legal names are expected on background checks and other official documents. In the Caribbean in particular, it's not uncommon for people to have "other" names that don't show up on any legal documents. Simply explain in your cover letter that your friends and family affectionately call you "......" and that's why it shows up so often in your proof. It actually works to your benefit, because it shows that sense of familiarity and closeness when people know and use your nickname. Good luck!

Hi Behopeful, we are of like minds when it comes to shopping I see! Congratulations on your one week anniversary of being able to finally be a "normal" married couple, so happy things are settling nicely. I am getting very excited and so is my hubby. We have not seen each other since January so we are both looking forward to being together without having to track receipts, save boarding passes, photocopy forms, etc. etc.

I think/hope/pray that it will be ok to have family members visit but one never knows with immigration, right? Blessings my dear.
