hi everyone its MR.mill here, I just want to say what a ride what a journey, I didn't get to sleep last night everytime I thought of the idea of going back home to my amazing wife my heart skips a beat and adrenaline pumps through my veins and then I just couldn't sleep a wink, its a dream come true and a wonderfull but angry ordeal and don't get me wrong I hated every last step, but its over for me and the rest of us @ doclady @ behopeful @ CAD and lets congratulate my fellow st Lucian @ louisfarm, my wife and I are all so happy for you and who ever else I missed.

if anyone looking to ship their PP the cost is much better with DHL, I paid $65 to send the pp and $178 for return, with FEDEX its almost twice the amount.

@ missd we have travelled with you through all of this an we are still saving a space for you when you return home with your better half, I can only try to tell you everything will be ok, but everyday you are away from him and he from you is argonising you are angry and you cry at night, all I can say is that IT WILL END. and you will look back at this with your kids at hand and laugh and cry and yourll love will remain forever strong.

thank you again forum friends am about to go and pick up my passport and my wife is making travel arrangement. my hands are my heart is racing but happiness engulfs me.

hi Louis congrats again, but when I calculated it, it took two weeks but for me it took 3 weeks because of the holidays, so this is what you can do, pay attention to E-CAS if it changes to DM then wait two or three days. now we have two flights going out of slu west jet and air Canada, air Canada is expensive so stay away haha west jet is cheaper but it travels Thursday and Sunday alone. the cost is around $277 ec.

as for you pp again it between two to three weeks. did they ask you for anything else besides your pp. for me they ask for my police record again since I hve been in slu more than 6 months, its a good thing I did it since july. hahah

Yes, they did ask hubby to re-do police clearance. Hopefully PP will be on its way next week to POS. First week of Nov we will definitely be glued to E-CAS. So excited ;D Yes, everytime we did travel it was with WestJet, never considered AirCanada lol. I believe WJ travels on Tuesdays as well...

@fromadistance - while it's possible that 118ec was the total price for fedex return, I more suspect this is what happened. This has been done to me twice (2x failed TRV applications). When you go to fedex in Dominica and ask to send a package with a return envelope inside, they only charge you for the OUTWARD package. They still give you the return envelope in the package and a tracking number and it will work fine. However, you have not yet paid for it. This is because they are worried the return package will weigh more (and therefore COST more) and they want to not be short any money at all at fedex (we all know how that company is struggling financially.. pfft). So whenever I've gone to pick up my return envelope at fedex in Dominica, I've always been asked to pay an additional 110ec (approx.) for the return envelope because they want you to pay that when the package comes back. I suspect that is why yours was so cheap.. I've never heard of it that cheap from Dominica for a return package.. so this is probably what happened. Therefore, make sure hubby has another 120ec or so on him when he goes to pick up his envelope or they won't hand it over. Just in case.

I may have scared him too much lol. I told him he had to be prepared to answer any detail that was in our app.. today he informed me he memorized the date is passport was issued and expires Lol. Oops. I had to explain that I meant details about US and things we have done together and he was like, "but I already know those." Lol He is not nervous at all. I am running around getting every phone bill and skype chat and he`s cool as a cucumber. Good for him though

He is more then ready! I really hope they issue your VISA on the spot. Will you and hubby get to spend anytime together outside of the interview (before or after)? I can only imagine the stress of running around getting stuff together on top of going to school. I'm excited for you because I know you will be reunited soon!
