Hey cantrini thanks for being blunt lol my expectations are low as possible because I don't want to set myself up for disappointments. Thanks for the info it was very helpful. Probably next year I'll be hearing from them.

:D you are most welcome b1. I think most of us who get the sponsorship approved fairly quickly are lulled into a sense of false expectation that the rest of the process will somehow magically speed up. So we start checking ecas obsessively and soon get depressed when we see no changes. I think my file is a bit of an anomaly in that we got through in 8 months start to finish and believe me when I say, I was more shocked than anyone. I had finally just adjusted to accepting that we may wait 20 months and then boom!

I just know that I felt better mentally and emotionally going through this when I was not so focused on.......HURRY UP IMMIGRATION :P. And my Dad always said to me, "don't wish your life away". I know it is all easier said than done; however, it is good to try and learn how to stay in the moment. I still prayed for a speedy process though ;). Blessings.

hi there, this is Mrs. Millslu,

So still no word on our package yet.
Our ECAS changed on Friday to "Decision Made" however the tracking # to return my husbands passport is still not in the courier system, needless to say, I'm nervous, this is our 3rd week. And 2 days out of the 4 week time frame they give you to process your passport were holidays (T & T holiday and Cdn Thanksgiving) so we are keeping our fingers crossed. I swear, every 5 minutes I'm checking our tracking #... ???
