hi guys my wife just landed and am so extactic to see her, sorry she landed from the air plane not landed immigrant lol. shout out to everyone. i think my councellor order my gcms but i never trusted her,also i have no idea why i got an interview, i submit everything but the kitchen sink, we had skype, phone insurance, house, everything they could possibly ask for we sent them, so we have no idea why the want to chat wit me, but i ready for them. hahaha

in a few weeks time i have my interview in POS. i have the list of questions already,anybody familiar with travel arrangment, hotels or guest house, my wife told me i should go the day before, stay at a guest house and be fresh in the morning. any more post interview advice or interview advice to share will be gratefull.

Hi @millslu, my hubby is Trini and I have stayed at Alicia's guest houses when I first went there (obviously stay with him now). There is one down by the Savannah in POS not far at all from the High Commission office. Also hubby is a great taxi driver/tour guide and knows all about the process as we are going through it too. He has not been scheduled for PR interview but did have a TRV interview so he could commiserate with you. And drive you ;D. I do not know how to connect offline but if you let me know how we can, I can send you his phone number and he will help you out to the best of his ability. We will all be praying for you that day. Congrats on having a visit from wifey too, we are all envious..sigh..

Hi @millslu I will get the info. from hubby for the price and location. He will be more than fair & you will have a kindred spirit in him. If you want (no pressure) let me know when you will land at airport (time and flight from where) and I can arrange for him to pick you up and deliver you. hi guys, just be patient, its hard but as much as you are missing your loved ones,just try to understand the process, its busy for them its hard on them and they are doing their best,yourll process will happen as long as we all follow the rules. i read that one of the reason the process is so long is to put a certain strain on a relationship to see if through all of that, the relationship can still move on, trust me we go through that and yourll relationship will be very strong.

hi @ millslu and as promised here are some costs for a guest house and taxi travel (individual car) when you go for your interview in POS.

1) Airport pick-up after 10:00 p.m. to Alicia's guest house is $45 US. Airport pick-up between 6 a.m. and before 10:00 p.m. is $30 US.

2) One night at Alicia's guest house cost varies from $56 to $78 US depending on occupancy and which room (large or small)

3) Taxi cost from Alicia's guest house to the Canadian High Commission $10 US

4) Taxi cost from High Commission to airport $35 US or - cost from Alicia's guest house drop-off back to airport as noted in item #1 above
