hhah that is so funny i hope @missd doesnt see that, everytime @missd know she is getting close someone always steps infront of her, like for instance in january she thought she was next cause she is in august and they were on early june, but then i came in and she was like pretty pissed lol, and i just got my interview confirmataiton, so she was like yes am next lol now you come along in july, as much as its funny it sad to, but at least it gives a better idea of wahts going on.

so i am late just and i got my interview letter MARCH 1ST so am guesssing you would be next although u are late july but yours should be around the corner am guessing. were is @missd right now she can help clarrify.

by the way did you get you AOR (AUTHORISATION OF RECEIPT) that the letter saying that POS have received you application and is working on it.

you got your letter approving you for sponsorship in october that a long time but when did u get the AOR.

i never recevied an AOR. i have a lawyer, and he hasnt told me anything or my husband anything yet. so i do not know what is really going on.

why do you a lawyer is there some problems with your file? you need to find out if you got an AOR its very important, it shows that POS has received yur file and is working on it. if you look at our timeline u will see we all received one, if you dont get one then u wont know if when missassauga sent it that POS received it, so u need to contact that lawyer and find out about the AOR.
p.s dont trust those lawyer i would rather u trust this forum 100 times more than a lawyer.

@princess according to your timeline, the letter you got in october are u sure its the approval letter or is it the AOR becasue that is around the time u suppose to get it.august is the time you suppose to get the letter saying u are approved for sponsorship. just double check, this is very important

the letter i got in october was the approval letter and it said that my file was sent to POS for futher processing.

POS is not always on top of sending out those AORs (Acknowledgement of Receipt), there are quite a few of us who never received one, although they had our file and all was well. Send them a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) and say that you have not received any acknowledgement from their office and just want to make sure that your file was received. They will usually send it out when prompted.

dont say that @missd let me see if i can ease your mind. 10 months !! that is the best thing to focus on give yur self the maximum amount of time of 10months that what i did and i was right on the ball, although i am afraid becasue of my arc i might get very close to my one year also my medical and also my wedding anniv also my wifes bday omg there is so much in june and july.urghhh.

Morning forum family,I am still here,was in the hospital in january
for couple of days, i had a surgery on my throat,was home from wk
for 8weeks,hubby was taking good care of me,but thank God all is well
now.Millslu,my hubby interview only last about 15 minutes the most.
