Anyone else?

Hey All...

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing! So its been almost 3 weeks after my husbands interview in Trinidad. Still now word about the "missing" medicals. Our immigration consultant has sent 3 letters regarding our case....nothing. Still waiting which sucks but trying not to go toooo crazy. Think I am half way there though! Has anyone read anything about missing medicals before?? Just curious if this is a common screw up or if we are "special." Have a great week!

Hi everyone, this is Millslu's wife, i'm so grateful for this forum because sometimes i feel like im in a world by myself waiting, waiting and waiting for my husband to come home. I wish i could hear something soon. I'm at work right now and as you can see, im unable to focus on my work. This whole process is consuming me. I'm frustrated and concerned that i still cannot access my ECAS, i was able to on Friday and now i cannot as i keep getting the message saying they have no record of me or my husband. So, im very concerned. Our counselor is no help and in fact she increases my anxiety. They say they understand but really don't understand. If it wasn't for the Grace of God, i honestly don't know how my husband and i would be able to function. Anyway, i sent an email to technical support, hopefully i will receive an answer as to why i can no longer access my ECAS very soon. This is very nerve wrecking, it's making me feel very uneasy.
Anyway, don't get confused, this is Millslu's wife using my husband's account, just needed to vent a little. Thanks guys...

Inlimbo sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope POS gets on their tail and get this resolved asap. Probably they are not answering your inquiries because they know they messed up and dont know what to tell you. I would take this to the higher ups if I were you.

Hi milsslu wife. Welcome to our thread. The process is indeed nerve wracking but this forum is a good way to let our your frustrations. I pray that you both hear something soonest,

As for ECAS, it is a crappy service. Other members have reported not being able to log in. Hopefully that means they are working on your file.

I called the CIC Call Center again and there is a technical issue that is causing a lot of us a lot ot grief as we are not able to check the status of the application. They are aware of it and working to fix it. They have no idea how long it will take them to sort out this issue.

Whoever is not having issues, is because this technical issue did not affect your file. It has nothing to do with your cache or change in policy or because some files are not "in process", nor does it help because you are using a specific browser. It is purely a technical fault

hey fromadistance do you know the threads that are discussing this problem

Hello there Millslu, here is the thread which discusses the eCAS issues. I haven't been able to successfully log on either so try not to worry too much.

What's up POS? Any news lately?

My husband got PPR last week and we're waiting for his passport to be sent back any day now......I hope. (nervous laugh).

Hi all.. I'm still 'here'... just a busy week and no news on my end. I check in for posts/questions every night! :)

Island greetings to u all.

hello guys, ok so POS received my hubby passport today, we waited 2 weeks after the medical redo was received in Ottawa as suggested in the email they sent us, the email that said we are please to announce you you have been approuved!!!!
Crossig my fingers it will go fast fast!!!
DHL did not offer the service of pre paid return envelope, not availeble here...so POS has to email me when they are ready to return us the PP.
Will keep you all posted...keep the faith, it will come to an end!!

That's great news!! Let us know how it all works out... crazy how there was so much confusion around your medicals and things... Bet you're glad to be at the end after the wait! lol

@millslu, yes the Jamaican forum is very lively. They have gotten several PPRs in the last week or so... very lucky for them.
