MissDominica, when was your file transferred to POS?

I am noticing a trend on the other forums. Many October file transfers are hearing something from their respective consulates in January! Some in-process, others interview requests and others even PPR! I am not just talking about one embassy here. Not to keep your hopes up but hopefully you will hear something soon.

That's what I get for using my phone instead of the laptop. My file was transferred in October!!! I would LOOOVEEE to hear something this month. You just gave me a nice boost of excitement. Priestman's application was received in POS exactly one week before mine and he got an interview request on January 9th. So I'm hoping that means they're working on applications received around my date. But also millslu's was received before mine and he has not heard either. I'm REALLY hoping for PPR straight away so I can see my man without having to wait months for an interview.. I pray every night!!!

Ok, I cannot send a CSE through POS. I tried, a friend on a different computer tried, it does not work.

When you get to the part where you accept the rules and type in the security picture letters and press next, it says runtime error and the whole site messes up.

Can someone who has sent them one before check? Like go on and pretend you will send one and try to get to the page where you fill in your information. Because I can't get to it and I have no way to know how to send them a CSE.

???

If it IS a problem on their site, which my computer friend seems to think so, why has it gone unfixed for week!? ugh

Maybe you should check! Sometimes they email, sometimes mail, sometimes they call. You never know. But they do not go in order necessarily, so don't think that you missed something because yours arrived first. But it can't hurt to check!

Yes, priestman did get his interview and his application arrived in POS after yours. But, as often happens with CIC, that is probably just them processing applications out-of-order.

It could be due to many reasons. Perhaps he has an officer that is faster or has less files to work on and we have officers that are slower or have more files to work on ahead of ours. I highly doubt you missed a letter/email or something, but since you have not checked the post office is so long, I would go and check it ASAP. Some officers do send letters and e-cas is not always updated as it should be to let you know a letter is coming. Often the letters tell you to do something within a certain timeframe (eg. 60 days) so don't let the mail sit for too long without checking it. However, it's still early in our processing and if you did miss a letter (which I doubt you did), 60 days would not have passed yet.

If you think about it, some people from late 2011 and very early 2012 did not get their letters or emails until after some of us late-2012 appliers were getting ours! So their applications arrived way before some of ours and yet our late-2012 applicants were getting visaas and interviews and they weren't getting anything. So this "order" theory that it's our turn, is very flawed. Some people wait very long and some wait times are shorter and often times there is no obvious reason.

Let's hope our news is on its way!


PS: If any of the seniors log in and read my post about CSE POS not working, I could use your advice/help to see if I'm doing it right. Thank u!
