Hey Everyone,

It's December already.....Time flies....Wow weeee!!!!!

Goshhhhh!!!!! I feel so bad for not checking in on the forum on a regular basis. I feel like i'm getting so caught up with my day to day activities that I forget to check in. I most definitely have to work on that....and check in more. I'm missing out on so many wonderful stories and advice given.

I just took a look at the s/s and it is still going strong. Big shout outs to Smokie on the updates. I'm hoping everyone going through is on there. If not feel free to send a msg to be added.

I've seen progress so far...whether its receiving AOR or even interview request. That just shows they're working on your files....slowly yes but surely. Best of luck to all those with upcoming interviews. Preparation is key. Be sure to have ample evidence attesting to the authenticity of your relationship....(pictures, cards, call logs, ticket stubs...just whatever). The VO may not go through all of it but by having these things, are a plus. More proof....Less doubt. Also, know the details of your spouse or partner (education, birthdate, family, employment history etc, where you met, when etc). Remember, it's the same info you filled out when filing your application. Just go over what you submitted in your file prior to the interview. Most of all be confident. Don't worry if you didn't know one or 2 things....That's normal. Besides no one knows every single detail about their spouse or partner just know the basics and the important ones as previously mentioned.

I'm hoping there will be some Passport requests soon soon soon.

@ MissDominica I'm here.....working hard. If you think im away too long feel free to send me a msg on here. I get email notifications direct to my mobile :D . How are you doing?

Stay blessed everyone.....xxx

Admirable! So nice to hear from you!! I'm just about to send off my last batch of "extra proof" since filing. Since we applied common-law and I had just moved back to Canada to finish school and get settled, I want to show that we are still carrying on a relationship even from afar (which is a requirement of common-law applications and, really, all applications). I just got me AOR a few days ago, so I thought it was the best time to send it off before they get too into processing it and then receive extra proof.. better to send it now before they start on it too much.

Hope all is well with u!!! Long time no chat :)

Goodluck to you Inlimbo2012. You will succeed, if you believe! On another note, I just logged into my online Citizens and Immigration Canada account and my "Client Application Status" now reads "We started processing your application on November 14, 2012" in addition to "We Received your application for permanent residence June 9, 2012" and "Medical Results has been Received" which were there previously. Did you receive any such updates to your account because I am trying to figure out how far along in the process I am and when I can expect an "Approved" or "Interview Needed" response.

Has anyone else received such an update? Can you shed light on this? Thanks in advance.

Can we add DanAwe to the spreadsheet Admirable or Smokie?

This is a great sign. Once this has been added to your case you will be finalised real soon.
Hang in there all will be revealed shortly.

Hi Halfmoon, yes, I saw this tonight but it may have been posted earlier because I last checked two weeks ago.

Thanks for the support Smokiejoe. I certainly do hope so. Such good news will make Christmas even merrier for us.

@DanAwe you file is progressing smoothly at POS....That's wonderful. Can't predict when an interview or ppr will be issued. POS is so unpredictable but it's coming....Oh boy it's coming.

@MissDominica Whatever you submit, be sure to make copies. I think it's a wonderful idea to submit add'l proof asap as you've received AOR.

I just took a peak at the S/S and DanAwe was added by Smokie.

@ Halfmoon Goshhhhh!!! KGN is faster than POS...I remember sometime last year they were getting PPRs left, right and center. I wish POS was like that....

@Smokie How are you doing these days? I hope all is well :D

Blessed Sunday to everyone.
It's a rainy day here today. I'm hoping I wont be trapped indoors all day.

It "appears" KG is faster however I think there's simply more of us. Let's go POS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been AWOL, life has just been extremely hectic! But...all is well. My husband is settling in very well, we've been working away sprucing up our home and getting ready for Christmas. He received his PR card last week, so the immigration loop is now officially closed.

Congrats to everyone who has received an update and best of luck to everyone is still waiting. POS has been known to speed up this time of year to improve their quarterly report, so let's hope you all sail right through! I haven't read through the posts I missed yet, I will soon though!
