Wow! That's extremely impressive. POS just broke a record with this one. Congrats.

That's what I was thinking! I feel so fortunate! Do you think that an early AOR indicates fast processing? LOL. Like I have a SUPER FAST officer? lol I wish!

YAY!! Congrats Miss. Dominica! Just think...I received my interview request a month and a half later! Fingers crossed they are on the same timeline for you. Woo hoo

That's AMAZING! Just think if I didnt get an interview it might even be faster! OMG. Even with an interview (if I'm on the same timeline), it could be very fast. I told my man to prepare for a Canadian summer arrival.. I may be out buying him snow boots and a parka instead LOL... Bring it onnnnnnnn. :D

Thanks fromadistance & lovingwife.. I missed your congrats earlier somehow when I was reading!
We are very excited

You are very fortunate indeed. Hope some of that good luck rubs off on me. From the look of things (and it looks very bright from my standpoint), you may very well find yourself on a plane in January headed to TO! Please POS, I want to be on that plane too :D!

Omg. DanAwe... Do you really think so? That would be AMAZING. Im teary eyed just thinking about this possibility...

Glad to hear the interview went well Marlon!

If you have time I'd love to hear more details about it... what the officers were like, the setup, etc

Enjoy the wait knowing you should be on your way "home" soon :D

Also, I dunno if anyone knows this.. but I was wondering...
When you get your PPR from POS, I know most people send a paid courier envelope with PP in order for POS to send it back.

With other offices, you have the option of going in person to drop off PP and get it back much sooner. But because my hubby's home country is not in POS, I dunno if they will even offer the drop off and pick up sooner option. I feel like it makes things happen faster and since I'd be flying to land with him anyway, I'd consider camping out in POS for a few days to get the visa faster... I dunno if it's an option for us though.. anyone?

Hello guys,
So i sent an email to my MP, lets see...what do you think about an immigration lawer?? Should we go that way??
All the best for those who get positives responce from POS...great to know that POS is alive and that famelies will be reunited!

I personally dont think an immigration lawyer will be any use to you now that you have already filed. They have absolutely NO power in getting a response or action from any VO. An MP on the other hand is a good idea... the VO is supposed to reply to their inquiries by rule.. Sometimes it does nothing, but sometimes a reminder by an MP pushes things in the right direction! Let's hope this is what happens with you!

This is indeed a very good question. I do not know the answer, does anyone?

Very good question Miss.Dominica! I was wondering that myself. I would stay in Trinidad for a month if it meant getting the passports faster. I am curious cause they asked my husband to bring my birth cirtificate(im the sponsor) his sons passport and birth certificate (he lives in Jamaica) and of course his passport. Do you think they would stamp the visa the same time seeing that they asked for his sons passport? They know he does not live in the same country as us so I was wondering!

Melanita: lets hope the Mp can do something! youve done it so atleast you cant regret not doing it!

Marlon: Do you ask them how long it will be before you hear or did they tell you at the interview. My husband is planning on asking them in the interview how long before we get ppr or if they will stamp the visas while we are in Trinidad. Wishful thinking!
