Good morning forum friends, the week soon finish and no change in my husband file.
I am so frustrated, what could be taking P O S so long.I will try to keep the faith
Have a nice day everyone.

Bump! Where is everyone? I'm still "skipped" for stage 1 :( Feeling so bummed.

GreetingsForum Fam,

Popping in to wish all those in CA a Happy Thanksgiving.

@MissDominica Hold your head up....*hugs* . You time will come soon.

POS is a slow office most of the times. One thing for sure is that they must get to your file....One day. Try not to worry too much.

Don't worry, they maybe just haven't updated Ecas yet and/or possibly sent it via snail mail. CIC is very inconsistent in their dealings. Just keep sending out positive vibes, they're working, just not telling us about it!

Thanks Zouk and Admirable.

You guys don't think it's weird that stage 1 was going (literally) straight down our August group in order of receipt until the date of the 13th and it skipped 3 of us on that day and now is continuing straight down the August list...

It's as if they didn't even receive the applications that day.. Im so worried. I mean, maybe (probably) there is an explanation as to why (snail mail, etc) but why would they just choose one day to mail things by snail mail or something... it's so weird.. If the entire month of August had been sporadic, I would not be worried.. but it was literally as if they went down our list in perfect order... until that one day.. then kept going in order... Am I going crazy? Im freaking out. Also, someone from the August group who also had theirs received on the 13th called and hers was not approved/AOR (not even by snail mail) and they had not opened it yet (despite people after us in August going perfectly down the list..). Im so scared that days' mail got misplaced or something (I got a delivery notice from Canada post... but I mean within CIC or something).

:-\

I wish I had just waited one damn day to mail my app and I"d be approved already. Frig. :(

Thanks for the support guys. Happy Thanksgiving!

@MissDominica I don't think it's weird at all. First in doesn't mean first out with CIC. Many came after me and were all done with this process and it seemed I didn't even get started yet. They do work on files but they don't communicate and update in a timely manner. Not to worry at all. I thought my file fell through the cracks but eventually..... they got to it. Better late than never. You need to stay strong and stay positive otherwise this process will drive you nuts.

Blessings Always.....xxx

Greetings forum family!

A real blessing to share this morning. My husband had his interview at POS on Thursday aft. He was issued the VISA to pick up the following morning with a two month expiry before his medical expires on Dec 5th. He is now preparing at home in Guyana to depart mid to end of November. We are so happy and blessed that we see an end to this process.
God always provides and we give thanks for love and strength that carried us through this process.
Our application was received Dec 28th and a decision was made on Oct 5th.

A blessed week to one and all. Happy thanksgiving to my Canadian families.

Morning forum friends, cdguyana i am so happy for you, you're finally finish
I am still waiting to see Decision made on my husband file.
I pray that it will be over soon.

Hello Forum family,
Hope everyone is having a good day.
@cdguyana, congrats to you and your husband for getting through the process!
@missdominica, I feel your pain....even though I'm happy to see other people complete the process, it still makes me wonder why so many who have submitted their applications after we did have gotten through, while we are still here waiting........it is frustrating and can be a bit depressing!
BUT as was said before, and most recently by @Admirable & @ZoukPrincesse, CIC has proven time and time again to be inconsistent, and their lack of communication / updates compounds the issue!!!
So all we can do, is stay positive...don't give up....pray and believe that they will approve our applications sooner rather than later!
I'm approaching 11months since my application was received, and my goal is still the same as day 1....but I'm that much closer to reaching it :) ........so even though others have come and gone since I submitted...Good for you guys 8).... my day will come too ;D and so will yours!
And that is a little reminder for anyone who has been waiting longer than most, or anyone who might just be feeling down and at the end of your rope with this process........We are 1 day closer to our goal!!!!!!!!!! :D :P

CONGRATS cdguyana, so great to see another family reunited!!! It's also great to see such a positive outcome after an interview, as some people tend to get worried when they are called.

On another note...Just thought I'd share this with the forum. When we called trying to get info from POS, the person we spoke with said that not even the MP is able to get information out of them. I had said that we were going to get our MP to call on our behalf, and she said they don't give the MPs any info, and that even the MPs call and say "I know I won't get any information, just doing this because I was asked". I thought that was quite interesting ...

@Miss Dominica, I'm sure your file is in processing, don't sweat it. When we would see others getting through sooner, I convinced myself that everything happens for a reason. Maybe the slight delay will land your file on the desk of a really cool VO who will process it faster than the mean one who might have gotten it a few days earlier. You just never know :)

Hey Every One.... just a quick question regarding the FBI Clarence.... when FedX-ing the form and finger prints do you pay for a return package soo that the FBI could FEDX you the results back or do they post the results to you to the postal address you provided..?
