Actually, i do not know why this applications should take this long. it just sounds funny when i hear people wait for years just to get papers to go to another place. No one is guaranteed a good life in your new destination. I hope this VO do something to make application process faster. It just a boring issue applicants wait for years to be rejected or accepted.

I got my notes! took 30 days. 29 pages, all the email we sent are there.
It mainly tells me that

medical status, passed but expired
eligibility, passed
criminal verification, not started due to juridictions

So it sounds to me that everything is good, he will need to redo his med and they have not started to verify his background security check...for juridictions problems??not too sure why is that.

No news from POS for sooooo long now, what more can i do? We are thinking to bring an immigration layer into this...would it help?
Should i write to POS again?

Im starting to weeken...remember they received the application in april 2011.

Ho it also say, due date for criminal back ground is april 10th 2012...
Any idea what that would mean?

Where did you send the request for the notes? I am wondering now if I send it to the right place...

i sent it to the email written at the bottom of the request form....dont have it with me now.
/anyone has an idea what they mean when they write...due date april 2012???

I just check the adress at the end of the form, its in Ottawa. Now, i will look again at my receipt where did i send this...

I believe that criminal record checks expire after one year. This may mean that is criminal check is now expired. Or, (a complete guess on my part) they are expecting results, on that date, from their own criminal check they did???

Just thought I would try and help :)

I guess I have good news... We received an email from POS and the interview has been waived!

Now they want photocopies of passeport, 1 picture, csq, and a police certificate from guyana. Hubby hold 2 citizenship (barbados-guyana). He didnt live in Guyana for more than 6 months after 18yrs old, but they are asking for it anyway.

Ouf....

Congrats, smokijoe! Timing is improving for those PR cards, I landed about a week before you and mine arrived after 39 business days.
